This was a great place to stay. Located outside the park, I stayed In A tent with an air mattress, bedding and towels provided.
The reception staff were friendly as were all the staff. The bar staff were exceptional and professional.

We stayed at the Evergreen Lodge in a deluxe cabin for two nights in the peak of travel for Yosemite. Family of 4 fit great in the cabin. Spent lots of earning mornings and evenings on the deck. The destination is a quiet place. Cabins...More
We booked a tent for two nights. I'm not really the camping type, with almost no experience so I was a little bit afraid on arrival. There was completely no need for it, the facilities are very good for some fancy glamping. The tent has...More
Stayed here in June with another couple. We opted for tents for our week stay. It was still a little cool at night but our tents and sleeping bags were warm. The mattress pads were incredibly comfortable after hiking around every day. With one exception...More

Hello Ridhima G,
This is Megan from the Evergreen Lodge jumping in to answer your question. Unfortunately no public transportation comes directly to the lodge so we highly recommend renting a vehicle to make getting around easier. We do offer a variety of guided tours that leave directly from the lodge, and you can review the different options on our website, under the 'Explore' tab.
We look forward to your stay with us, and if you have any questions feel free to reach out to our Recreation Team. You can also find their contact information under the 'Explore' tab on our website.

The answer to your question about road access is tricky this far out because we never know what Mother Nature has in store for us. Right now there are several road projects going on, and the Tioga Pass is closed for winter as usual, but nothing is blocking access to the lodge from Monterey. The current projects should be complete long before your visit. It helps to make sure we have your preferred email address in your reservation; if there are any road issues that may inconvenience you we will email you directly prior to your arrival.
Another great resource is the National Park Service Yosemite web site. They provide timely updates on all sorts of conditions throughout the park in an easy to use format. Sorry we cannot share the url in this forum.
Enjoy your adventure!
