All the staff was super friendly. They gave us an amazing room because they had extra availability during the week. The restaurant / tavern was also excellent. We recommend taking one of the guided tours they offer. All the guides are super knowledgable. We felt our Yosemite experience wouldn't have been the same without Evergreen!

My wife and I have wanted to visit Yosemite for a long time A wedding in Aptos gave us the opportunity. We cringed when we read the reviews of the local accommodations. This seemed the best choice- even though it's one hour from the main lodge. It was good-not great. Hard to get there at night. The restaurant had food....

IMPORTANT: I gave this place five stars because they deserve it but it takes about THREE HOURS to get to Yosemite Valley from here (that was our destination the next day). It's very close as the crow flies and when roads are open. I booked this on trip advisor without checking EVERY road closure due the the rains etc in...

Forget the run-down cabin and the price per night. I get that--its June and it's Yosemite. What I cannot forgive is the level of apathy among the staff at this "resort." The staff with the exception of the kids who worked at the general store, could not give two shucks about service. They work when then want to--which means that...

The location is perfect for enjoying the variety of outdoor activities in and around Yosemite. The cabins are lovely and comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous nestled in the woods with an amazing restaurant that does not disappoint. We highly recommend booking a guided hike or other type of outdoor excursion through the lodge. Our snowshoe hike through the sequoias...

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful this place was, it fulfilled a dream of mine to stay in true lodge style accomodation during our trip in the States. Our cabin was roomy and just gorgeous with an interior that reflected a true wilderness theme, it was perfect. The restaurant at the lodge was of a wonderful standard and our...

Upon a recommendation from a couple who stayed at Evergreen November 2016, we decided to stay at the lodge over Presidents' weekend. Having spent an amazing winter wonderland day in Yosemite valley, we made our way to Evergreen Lodge just before dusk (close to five o'clock on a February cloudy evening). Not knowing that the road to EL is about...

We had an impromptu spring trip for my family and stayed at the lodge. Got there Thursday and had the place seemingly all to ourselves for the first day and a half. So peaceful, serene, and remote. Cabins were clean, tidy, well built, and charmingly nestled in the forest. Staff were fantastic with great service. Come Friday night and Saturday...

I recently spent four nights here with my family and can't say enough about the place! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. There are lots of activities for you the kids. You're just far enough outside the park to escape the crowds but still an easy drive into the park. I'll definitely be staying again.

Cabin in the woods, up a secluded road on the way to Hetch Hetchy - snow everywhere ! This is a great place to stop, authentic no frills ( so the cabins could be warmer on arrival and the bathroom is basic ) away from the chain hotels, reasonable but not great food however the staff are outstanding and make...
