This was our third time staying at the lodge and every time had been an exceptional experience. The grounds are beautiful, there is plenty to do whether you are with a family or as a couple. I absolutely enjoyed the recreation spaces and the hikes around the property. Our room was soo clean and felt like our own little home away from home. The staff is very helpful. This year there was LOTS of snow and being from San Diego we weren’t prepared and the staff helped in several occasions especially getting all the snow off our car and filling up our tires so that we can be safe in the road. A special shout out to Tom Holden the front desk manager ;) Agnes Messina and family.
I just spent a relaxing weekend with my girlfriends at Evergreen Lodge this past weekend and it was fantastic. The staff is truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and professional. Tom the manager was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special and that we were well taken care of. Special kudos to Forrest and Ryan who were both very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was delicious! Our servers, Natalie and Sylvia both had a very cheerful demeanor and were very attentive. If you have the chance to get a massage while you’re there, I highly recommend it. Each of us got a massage from Nicole and it was very relaxing and was the highlight of our day! We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be back!…
We had such a great time for our Thanksgiving vacay. The staff, including sylvia (our server), were the best. We loved doing the arts arts and crafts and how they have board games available in the recreation center and including the rooms. The room we stayed at was cozy and clean with a private porch. The breakfast was amazing. We ordered the rainbow trout and duck for dinner, I felt it could have been better but did not dissapoint for the holiday dinner, that was delicious. Always love the family environment they create!!! Will be back!
I tend to like my camping pure (read uncomfortable, inconvenient, isolated), so glamping at Evergreen Lodge was a risk. But I could get used to this. The tents were huge and had very thick memory foam mattresses (not the backpacking kind- the kind you order in a box for your home). The amenities were uniformly top notch, though the movie projector was down while we were there. But I didn't come to Yosemite for the movies anyway. I could have my firepit, my nature views, my smores (which they provide) and my easy access to Yosemite (45 minute drive); others could have a swimming pool, pool hall, well-maintained grounds and gourmet food. win-win. Evergreen is not your grandparents KOA- it is quite the resort and can be a bit pricey. Had a fusion folk-reggae band there one night.
We had no idea what to expect when we booked, but this was a wonderful resort. Spacious, comfortable cabins, beautiful grounds and lots of activities for all ages! Delicious food and helpful staff! We will definitely come back!
