Stayed 2 nights at Evergreen Lodge. It is an hour away from Yosemite Valley. Easy check in, they are following COVID-19 measures and enforce mask wearing. Our cabin/room was spacious, equipped with good wifi and bathroom amenities were great. All rooms have Alexa Amazon so music and news access is easy since there is no TV. Restaurant offers small but good menu. Bar offers good drinks. Close to Hetch Hetchy reservoir, Carlon Falls hikes. They offer guided tours and recreation activities and have a recreation room with helpful staff. If going to Yosemite off season will definitely stay here and drive to the valley given better accommodation compared to Yosemite Valley Lodge.

This place is fantastic. This hidden oasis in the middle of the recovering forest is wonderful. I would recommend this resort to anyone. The drive in for the first timer is a little apprehensive from my perspective but once you arrive the resort is welcoming, rustic and quaint. It was all decorated for fall, I loved it. My friend and I took our two 4th graders and our kiddos loved it. They especially loved the steak on the menu at the restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful and prompt. I did not realize we would need reservations for the restaurant and the young lady helping me at check in took care of it right then. I can't wait to go back and my kiddo says our stay at the lodge was his favorite part of our Yosemite trip.

My husband and I stayed at the lodge several weeks ago to get away from the covid chaos of san francisco. We had lovely accommodations in clean, rustic cabins, equipped with amazon alexas. The unexpected highlight and blessing of our trip was our amazing server, Jules. The epitome of service with a smile! :)

This was our first stay at Evergreen Lodge. Our deluxe cabin was perfect for a couple and would be fine for a family with two children. Spacious bathroom with a shower. We ate at the Lodge both nights and also for breakfast. Every meal was delicious. We weren't expecting such interesting menu choices and were very pleased with everything we ordered. The Cauliflower & Brussel Sprouts with Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese was incredible as was the Korean Pork Roll and Elk Meatloaf. Shout outs to Julianne (Jules), Ryan, and Allen, who worked in the restaurant and were all exceptional--knowledgeable and friendly with true service hearts.
