I have two main complaints about this "resort." The first is the misrepresentation of their sites. Half of the campground is beautiful as pictured on their website. This is what I thought I was getting when I picked a site. When we arrived I was told we were in the new section. Not pictured on their website. Our site was terribly unlevel, small ditch included, in a large patch of dirt and gravel. When we requested to be moved it was an inconvenience and difficult to find another spot to move us to. We were told they were full. But at no time during our 7 night stay were the sites near us completely or nearly completely full. The other major issue was the lack of bathroom maintenance. We were there at least 3 nights before the bathrooms were cleaned. There was no soap in the dispenser the entire week we were there. The campsite really does have potential. It wouldn't have taken much for us to be fine with it, but all things considered it was disappointing.

Good location close to park entrance if you cannot get accommodation in the park. We missed out on Yosemite tickets and really struggled to get advice from anyone on other things to do. Rainbow pools were lovely but really busy and hard to park. We hiked to Carlon Falls which was actually great. Trailhead is outside park but falls is inside park. About 4 miles round trip. Pool is not open - although I don’t think this was indicated on website. Bit of a shame as neighbouring accommodation had pool operating. Wifi ok - does work, but a bit patchy in evening when everyone on. No phone coverage. Saw on other reviews that power was unreliable and water dirty - but both totally fine during our stay. Laundry ok (one machine out of order). Place just needs a bit of a revamp but ok for a day or 2 Lucky Buck restaurant next door is quite nice with seating outside and can bring dog. Don’t hit it at 6.30 in peak season - queued 30 mins for a table. Good menu and service.

After a negative experience with Yosemite Lakes RV resort, we stopped here in early July of 2020 to see if there was any space available. The owner/manager was very accommodating and provided a great site for us. The bathrooms had been newly renovated and were clean and nice. The laundry facility was inexpensive, $1 a load and worked well. We had a nice shady spot in the RV loop for the first 2 nights and then had to move out to the "bear loop" for the last 2 nights. The kids loved being able to hang up their hammocks and having a gas station on site was great.

Location: perfect to the park. No disputing that. That would be 5 stars, except..... Sites: they are OK. The unleveled inadequacy would have been overlooked if the 30amp electric worked consistently. Thankfully, we don’t have our dogs with us as they would have died in our trailer today. The AMP service is pathetic and inconsistent. I totally understand the PGE outtages. I mean, that’s a NorCal normal. But that wasn’t the case for 2/3 of our stay with no 30 amp. Bottom line: if you don’t have a generator, don’t stay here. When I first brought the electric issue to their attention the immediate response by the woman at check in was , “we know.” When I brought it up to the guy who was genuinely kind and helped us when we settled in but on our last night, he shrugged his shoulders. Awesome. 👍🏼 Next time we’ll pay more to stay at Yosemite Lakes. Staying here was a proximity decision, not a monetary one. But we saw closer/better run options as we entered and exited the park. Bottom line: if you have a generator, you are good to go! Otherwise, do not pay for the services you will not get.

What a disappointment 😒 1st; let me say, that anytime you call more than 4 times to get an reservation......STOP there . 2nd; when you have to use 1st gear to get up the gravel road to your RV spot.....STOP there . 3rd; when your sewer hook-up runs UPHILL, STOP there. 4th; no trees for shade, STOP there . 5th; fellow RVers partying until after midnight, STOP there. 6th; when the pool is greener that the trees......Leave! Needless to say, I had to get home to write this review, because why you ask......NO CELL, WIFI, OR CABLE service. And they charge $60 per night to stay there. Guess, we’re the fools.
