We were assigned the "Ponderosa" family cabin capable of sleeping 4/5 people. It was really attractive being made almost enitrely of pine boards but with full kitchen/bathroom facilites and air conditioning and very comfortable. Note that there only seem to be two cabins of this type so my review may not apply to other accomodation units or of course to... More

The resort was relaxing for our large family. Each family either used a cabin, cottage or an RV space and we had a fantastic time. The staff was just as friendly and accommodating to us all. The swimming kept everyone cooled off from the warm temperatures & to enjoy the evening stars with all the family was as memorable.

We had decided to add an RV component to our long North American road trip on an impulse. Never having done this kind of thing before initially we presumed that we would just be able to find places to pull in. However once we did some reading up we rapidly realised that for this area of California, that was not... More

This Rv and lodge facility is very basic. The shower and toilet facilities are desperately in need of renewal. It's pretty clean, but old. The Rv spots are big have good shade and hookups are easy. Every spot has as much privacy as one will get at a campground. The pool is wonderfully refreshing during or after a hot day.... More

We visited the Yosemite Ridge resort July 19, 2016. We stayed in a family loft cabin, and it was terrific. Reasonably priced, clean, and furnished with everything that we needed. The campground itself is small, clean, and quiet. The staff is very friendly. We drove into Yosemite Valley every day, and the drive was about an hour and 15 minutes.... More

We stayed here for two nights in June 2016. Location was convenient for getting to Yosemite and the cabin we had was spacious enough. The bunk beds were a little uncomfortable, according to the two teenagers traveling with me, but the queen bed was great for me! The people doing the check in and check out were a little unfriendly... More

The park was in an excellent location and very close to Yosemite. The staff were excellent, very polite and very helpful. The cabin was as described and I was very happy with ,y stay overall. Staff directed us to a nearly by swimming hole at rainbow pools. Would definitely recommend for all kinds of visitors.

As long as you know going in that you will be staying in a very rustic place, you will be fine. Most places close to Yosemite are older and not plush. Location was outstanding and that was the main thing we were looking for. You will be within the gates of Yosemite in 15-20 minutes. WiFi is almost non existent... More

We were a group of 7 and had booked DOGWOOD CABIN cabin. It was cosy and had all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The facilities provided are as per the information provided in their website. Joe McGrath, owner of Yosemite Ridge Resort was very helpful as we had checked in after 8pm. The resort has a convenient store,... More

Coming from the South, I understand that lodging is MUCH more expensive in CA than it is around here, and especially near a world-class national park like Yosemite. Still, $120/night for a room approximately 15 x 15, with no bed (just a fold-out futon with a back-killing mattress) and low-ceilinged bathroom facilities...well, we adjusted. The place was obviously clean and... More
