Where to start??? What a beautiful place none of the pictures on their website do it justice , just amazing !!! From the minute we arrived to leaving the staff was on top of everything I had called to ask for a bottle of bubbly be in our room when we got in since it was our anniversary I had... More

We quickly fell in love with this place and can't wait to return! It is awesome for families. Activities for kids/ families include a play structure, tetherball, volleyball, a small catch and release pond, zip line, pool, horseshoes, basketball, cornhole, golf and fantastic hiking. We hiked to the Feather River and floated and fished. Our son was able to mountain... More

We love staying here every chance we get. If it's in your budget, I highly recommend the Honeymoon Suite!! The cottages are also adorable. Only place you can purchase Starbucks for miles!! Staff is always friendly.

We just spent an enjoyable weekend with a wedding party at Chalet View Lodge. The property is amazing: so many activities, very friendly staff, comfortable room, convenient parking. My “recommendation” concerns the lack of information provided by the resort. When asked, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, many of my questions could have been answered by information placed in... More

My wife and I were in the area for a wedding and the Chalet View Lodge had the best reviews in the area...and boy did they not disappoint. The property was beautiful, the activities practically all included for free (note: zip line was $10 each/$15 for 2) and were great for adults and kids alike. The staff really went out... More

Just spent one night after a three year absence. We stayed in one of the view rooms and the upgrade was worth it. We stayed in a cabin the last time and it was nice (very rustic) but chose a room this time which was spacious and clean and much more modern. Either spot is good. what really sets this... More

We stayed here on a Monday and knew that the restaurant was not open. The room was great and the staff was very nice, however, at check in , we were encouraged to sign up for the breakfast buffet, which we did. The next morning, when we went to the buffet area, we were told that due to low occupancy,... More

Just stayed two nights here, had booked (and prepaid) several weeks in advance, planning a snow trip. Due to unusually warm weather in the few weeks before my visit, and with reports of shrinking snowpack in the Sierra, I emailed the hotel 3 days before to ask what the conditions were, as well as about booking spa services, etc. Received... Stayed here last weekend for a retreat. Chalet View Lodge had 40 plus rooms and 6 cabins. Front Desk crew are the hotel restaurant servers too..which is pretty cool and for me it's more personalized. Meagan, Jyl and Alex are very friendly and pleasant, serving with a smile when helping guests or serving the restaurant clients. We used the meeting... More

I stayed in the resort guest room which was spacious for two people. The room is clean and the bathroom is modern. The breakfast was basic with granola, yogurt, juice, toast, and hard boiled eggs. There is a lot of hiking in the area and several golf courses for different levels. The diner is fabulous at the lodge's Lost Sierra... More
