This is an amazingly picturesque setting for a wedding. The trees, the river, the train tracks, the brick buildings, lights strung as canopies at night -- it is all magical. And at the end of the day, that's probably what matters most. However, staying at this former stagecoach stop brings some modern-day challenges so planning ahead will make your stay...

My boyfriends cousin got married here in July and the wedding was perfect! The most amazing setting for a wedding with some great locations for photos! Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the accommodation.

My cousin was recently married here, and they had the place for basically a week. Everything they needed for entertaining was here, and we prepared a casual dinner for friends and family one night, another night friends prepared the rehearsal dinner, and the staff handled the wedding night. Everything was beautiful, the grounds are well lit and maintained, and the...

A white wedding, outdoors! My niece picked this place online. She could not have found a better place. They are not normally open for winter weddings, but since it was Thanksgiving weekend I guess they decided to try. It snowed the day before the wedding but wedding day was snow free, but not on the ground. Absolutely beautiful. We had...

We stayed at Twenty Mile House for four nights as members of a wedding party. A really beautiful private location for such an occasion. Rustic with period appointments. Nicely landscaped. The main house is warmed by a wood stove with plenty of firewood and fire starter, supplemented with a combination of baseboard heaters, portable space heaters, and electric fireplaces and...

We stayed at Twenty Mile House for a destination wedding. The location, in the mountains is breath taking. Originally a Stagecoach Stop, there are several other cabins including the main house and "General Store". Lot's of space on thee grounds for lawn games and a nearby swimming hole in the River. A truly unique setting.

We spent a couple of enjoyable nights at the Twenty Mile house and it is a lovely place. The Feather River is a short walk to peace and seclusion …with a few chairs right on the river to ponder where dinner will be. The operators are friendly and I really appreciate learning the history of the Twenty Mile House… you...

We had a family reunion on the property and thoroughly enjoyed its use. The lodge has three bedrooms and the common area is a great open kitchen and living room. We had the staff prepare breakfast and we prepared the other meals. The other houses and the General Store building were fine. The smaller children loved the big General Store...

It is as peaceful and serene as you want it to be or a great place for a family reunion, birthday, wedding or romantic get away. It meets so many venues. Give...
