This is nor a luxury hotel, farfrom it. But if conveniece and friendliness are impotant attributes, the Brandwood Hotel in Glendale might be just the right place for you. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown Glendale and close to some of the hottest spots in the city. There is no elevator so ask for a lower floor, but...

Clean, safe, great price, really friendly staff, good location for where I needed to be. A bar fridge to boot which was welcomed after a long day, only has water and soda BTW. Small rooms and a small shower, lots of stairs, but overall a pretty darn good place that I'll stay at again. BTW the shoe shine towelette is...

This is a historic hotel in downtown Glendale, California. I'd read reviews, so somewhat knew what to expect. There was no parking in front, so circled around before parking in the bank parking lot in the back. We humped our bags to the front and started up the stairs (no elevator) when someone came to help us the rest of...

This is a boutique hotel with a central location to downtown Glendale. Close to restaurants, bars and shopping. As said before there is no elevator so you have to carry your bags up at least one long flight of stairs and if you are on the top floor you go up another. You repeat this each time you come back...

It was a little confusing finding this place, it didn't stand out like a normal hotel. We had to park on the street, check in, then go back and park as directed by the staff and carry our luggage in from the parking garage. The rooms were neat and clean though a bit small. The hotel itself is quiet and very...

Everything you read about the stairs, small rooms, parking in a bank lot behind the hotel, noisy A/C, etc. is true. To climb a long flight of stairs with luggage is not for everyone. However, the hotel is charming and nicely decorated but a little dated (it's nearly 100 years old!). There are a multitude of restaurants and shopping within...

Great location, close to all amenities. Please note that there is no elevator so if you have immobility issues, this would not be the hotel for you. Other than that, fantastic experience and great staff.

I'm usually not a non Marriott girl but costs of hotels in the area were way expensive so I tried Hotwire and landed with a room at the Brandwood. It was way above what I expected! The rooms were clean and quaint. I felt like the beds were comfortable and room was fine in size. There are a lot of...

I travel to Glendale for business fairly regularly and this is my employer's hotel of choice for staff to stay at. Since I do not have to pay for the hotel myself, I can't pass comment on its value-for-money as that would be hypocritical of me. However, I can comment on the facilities and rooms. The hotel is reasonably well...

Way better than 3 stars. If you want a comfortable place to sleep or just hang out, this is it. You walk upstairs (WAY UP, so be ready) to Old Downtown Hotel that has been thoughtfully remodeled, the rooms are now contemporary rather than rustic. I would have voted for full restoration, but people prefer these amenities. The little fridge...
