The restaurant in the hotel has closed. That should be shown on their website, in reservation confirmation, and on TripAdvisor. I chose the hotel so we could have dinner after our flight. The hotel has some charm and was well-located for us. Very nice reception desk staff and cleaning staff. Very small room -- no desk, no real chair to...

I have a vague memory of this hotel as a flophouse, but like most places in Glendale, it's been gentrified. Now a charming hotel with small but clean rooms and remodeled bathrooms. The photos of old Glendale in the lobby are great, as is the overall nostalgic feel.

I don't mind this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I hated the stairs and taking our luggage up to the room and disliked the mattress. It was really strange, not too comfortable. I've noticed that others mentioned problems with parking. To be honest, the parking lot is literally behind the hotel and if you can carry your...

Hotel is charming, but dated and all rooms are up a very steep set of stairs with no elevator. Carpets are old and worn. I would not recommend that anyone stay there that is not in good enough shape to hike up and down a lot of stairs.

Decided spur of the moment to do an overnight in Glendale and needed a reasonably priced hotel. Found this jewel hidden right in Brand. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. Quiet as well. My only issue was the stairs. I have a hard time climbing stairs. Other than that it was extremely nice for the price. Restaurants all around and shopping!...

Not a bad hotel if you're in Glendale for a couple of nights. The rooms have a hint of an old fashioned character about them if a bit dusty. Everything worked and the shower and bathroom were quite spacious. There is a daunting flight of stairs immediately through the front door. But if you hang around at the bottom for...

Everyone else please continue lest you miss out on a little slice of SoCal charm. I blind booked a two night stay in October based on price, star rating and location and I...

We parked out front and I opened the door and all I saw were stairs!!!! OMG I was winded when I got to the reception area. I wasn't sure about this at all. The gentleman behind the desk came down to get our luggage and brought some up but we had to bring a lot up too. After we brought...

Really good hotel with large rooms that are clean. The only sad thing was the view which was a brick wall, but since we only slept in the room it was not a big thing for us. If i visit L.A again im will consider to come back!

From check in to check out, everything was great! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and the service was fantastic. The rooms are a little small but furnished exquisitely and welcoming, it felt like home. The bathroom was updated and very nice. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I wanted to pack them up and take them with me when I...
