Our hillside view room was spacious and well-appointed with a small deck that we used in the evening. The air conditioning unit was quiet and effective. The availability of wine in the evening was a nice bonus. Breakfasts were delicious if non-traditional. Staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

My husband and I with our German Shepherd dog visited Olea to celebrate my husband’s birthday. And we loved this place so much that we are definitely going back! Where do I start… The service was so personable and there was great attention to detail in almost everything that we experienced here. Starting from the (best!) breakfast ever to the beautiful deck and 24hr hot tub and pool, everything was just perfect! We got the Lower king room which was really clean with heated bathroom floors and extremely comfortable beds. The location is great and is surrounded with great restaurants and wineries most of which are dog friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and think it's a charming base for exploring wine country. I found the staff to be very warm, attentive and welcoming. The grounds are lovely and my poolside cottage room (10) was amazing. So spacious and airy, very clean and comfortable, and stylish to boot. The room has its own private patio facing the indoor-outdoor fireplace and the huge bathroom also has a great soaking tub. I spent some time by the pool upon check in, took advantage of the complimentary wine, and had a fantastic dinner at Glen Ellen Star literally a 1-minute drive away. In the morning I went horseback riding in nearby Jack London State Historic Park and came back for the made to order hot breakfast at the hotel. I would definitely return to Olea Hotel and stay longer next time!

Stayed at the Olea Hotel for our Honeymoon in August 2021. Our stay couldn't be more perfect. Everything about the hotel was romantic. The rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was unique and amazingly delicious. The pool area was great with a clean pool and hot tub that was perfect size. Occasionally there were others in the pool area we enjoyed talking with, but often we were the only ones using them. Several nights we used the hot tub and then sat around the fire drinking wine. There was complimentary wine and snacks every day, which were also very good. The location of the hotel was perfect. Just outside of Sonoma and Napa, but very close to drive to and avoid all the crowds. The hotel was walking distance to the Glen Ellen Star which is a MUST visit also if you are staying at the Olea Hotel. Once of the best restaurants I have even been to. The greatest part was the staff, which made our stay was not just great but perfect. They were all helpful and extremely friendly and we enjoyed speaking with them every day. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We cannot wait to go back.
