The Olea Hotel was a lovely surprise! We were in the Sonoma area for a family wedding and chose the Olea for its proximity to the venue. The grounds are lovely, the rooms comfortable, beds amazing and the included gourmet breakfast is incredible. Highly recommend as a place to stay in wine country.

We had a nice clean upper floor room with a good view of the mountains across the valley. Breakfast was very nice and all the staff were helpful. Construction was underway on an expansion and it has the feeling of a property being built out while it's lived in. The sidewalks wrap around the buildings in odd ways, leading to... More

Great place and great staff. We were touring wine country and received advice about restaurants and vineyards. The room we had was great, but make sure to upgrade to one of their bigger rooms. Great breakfast included.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable, offering free wine and coffee all day, which gave this place a very personal and hospitable feel. The outdoor area was wonderful for sitting and enjoying the weather. It was kind of like staying in a friend's very nice house, with that friend cooking... More

My husband and I have stayed many times as we deal with a nearby renovation. We have stayed at Olea at least 6 times over the last year. What a wonderful discovery we found at this quaint gem. All of the staff now feel like part of our extended family Since our first trip we have had the pleasure of... More

We had a great two night experience staying in Cottage 9. We loved our fireplace and the bathroom is just huge! There were snacks for guests in the room, as well as a bottle of fresh water for drinking. We had a cute front porch and great privacy. The whole place is small and quiet for guests with plenty of... This trip was a retirement celebration with my husband and two adult children and their spouses. We reserved 3 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were small but clean with nice linens and furniture. The bathrooms were very nice with heated floors, nice tile, and soaking tubs. There was complimentary snacks and coffee, tea and wine in the lobby. Upon... More

We are grateful we were able to satisfy you with our wonderful breakfast, general accommodations, etc. But we also understand that you felt singled... More

Very pleasant hotel in Glen Ellen. Very welcoming with snacks in the room, evening wine tasting and helpful friendly staff. Yes, the breakfasts were different from the norm in a hotel, but we thoroughly enjoyed ours on both mornings. We received great help with finding vineyards. Only issue was that the walls are exceptionally thin and it can be noisy.... More

My wife knows food so we sort of came for the chef. They only prepare breakfast but they do an amazing two course meal that is a great way to fill up before a day of wine (and beer) tasting. The rooms, common area and grounds all have a nice clean esthetic. The complimentary wine available is really good. The... More
