We stayed at the Olea hotel for an overnight staycation to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was hard to leave when we checked out especially for our 5 years old daughter. We all had an amazing time and the weather was perfect! We arrived an hour early and thankfully the room was already ready and sanitized (CoVid times) so we were able to enjoy the pool hot tub (the main pool is not heated for the time being) . My daughter has a blast! Kathryn was very helpful and was such a great & helpful host. Our room is beautiful. I booked the cottage room and unfortunately it was only available on Sunday hence just the overnight stay. The room exceeded our expectations. It's very clean , spacious and we felt safe to stay especially with CoVid issue. The bathroom floors were heated so it was a plus!!! We also enjoyed the wine tasting options in the lobby area. The included breakfast was so delicious and I'm glad they were able to accommodate my daughter's request for bacon. Thank you Kathryn for all your help and making sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely back!! Food: Check out Les Pascals patisserie for authentic french pastries. Fig cafe - dinner was good and conveniently located down the road from the hotel. The Mac and Cheese was my daughter's favorite .

Wow we were completely blown away by our recent stay at The Olea Hotel. The property is a gem nestled into a hill of beautiful oak trees just as short walk from the charming town of Glenn Ellen. In a time when if feels like businesses are providing less due to Covid, the staff at The Olea gave more to create a safe and welcoming environment for us. We felt so pampered and cared for. The rooms at the Olea are beautifully appointed with the basics like high quality sheets, a good selection of pillows, plush towels, great robes, amazing shower/bathtub with EO Marin bath products ..etc. We were not expecting complimentary snacks, bottled water, a blue tooth speaker, wine after 4 pm, beautiful outdoor seating areas and a delicious breakfast prepared daily by their chef. It was such a treat. I also love this location. It is an easy walk to Glen Ellen where we discovered beautiful shops, a great food market and yummy bakery. We rented bikes, went wine tasting, toured the grounds of the hospital and slept. Can't wait to come back in the summer when the pool is heated although the hot top on its own was amazing. Big enough to comfortably hold two couples and nice and hot with good jets. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Olea.

Wow. The impeccable service, the comfy rooms, the gourmet breakfasts (that includes dessert), the beautiful property ... I also spent time in the hot tub and by the fire pit and it was v relaxing! My entire visit exuded lots of quiet time and serene vibes. I was blown away by this boutique hotel! I stayed during covid, and they took every precaution to make me feel safe and everything was exceptionally clean. Devesh and the Patel's are amazing Hosts! He was the nicest, coolest, most accommodating host I've ever had. I can't wait to go back for another stay!

We went to Olea Hotel with another couple August 14-16 as a getaway during COVID. We were hesitant as we hadn't gone anywhere or eaten out since March and we all work in medical/scientific fields. But there was no need to be concerned! During the planning process, Kent was patient and clearly communicated the hotel's plan for safety. In fact, Kent himself had a career in surgery and understands implicitly the importance for a clean environment. When we arrived, we were well cared for by Davesh whose gentle demeanor and careful management of distancing were superb. He set the tone for a relaxing weekend. It's hard to pick a favorite aspect of our stay, but I would say that relaxing on the patio and deck for the excellent breakfasts and in the evening with a glass of wine were equal to having a cup of Verve coffee on our balcony in our very comfortable room (Upper View King). Thank you for an excellent stay! We will be back. Tamara (It's a couple minutes into Glen Ellen. We recommend Glen Ellen Star for dinner, Les Pascals Patisserie, and Glen Ellen Market for sandwiches that we had on the hotel patio after hiking at Jack London State Park. We arranged private wine tasting at Stone Edge Farm, also recommended.)

Needed to get out of the house. Took one night in the Upper Garden Cottage at Olea. It was excellent. The studio cottage was sparkling clean and had been completely sanitized before our arrival. The property is following Covid recommended practices and feels totally safe in that regard. The cottage is a lovely unit featuring a two-way fireplace between the main room and the private patio. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom has both a deep soaking tub and a huge walk in shower. Pictures on the website are accurate. The staff is professional and friendly. A gourmet breakfast is included, two courses, one savory and one sweet. They will deliver to the room. A quarter mile away is the Michelin-recommended Glen Ellen Star. Open for dinner, outdoor dining or curbside pickup. Food was delicious. If you want to eat there, reserve in advance. We really enjoyed our one night and would love to return. Recommended.
