My family stayed here due to its central location between Yosemite National Park and Sequoia National Park. We were always greeted or told to have a nice day as we entered or exited the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I always ask for a room on a higher floor, and they were able to provide that for me. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick. The room was nicely furnished, and the beds were pretty comfortable. My son’s bed had a few noisy springs, but since he was snoring pretty loudly, I think he must have been comfortable enough to sleep! The room had a half wall divider between the beds and couch, and there was a nice desk area. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and a large tv. The bathroom had plenty of space, and we always had hot water for the shower. Everything was clean, from the lobby to the elevator to the room. It was quiet enough in the hotel that we were able to sleep well at night. There were only two things that kept me from giving this a 5 - first, although you can control the thermostat in your room, it took 3 days for it to reach the temperature we set it to on the first day (I like to sleep cold, so I did set it to 68). It could just be that it was so hot in Fresno, and the a/c was having a hard time keeping up. Second, I think it’s very nice that they offer a free breakfast, but it seemed like they had a hard time keeping up with the number of people eating. They consistently ran out of eggs, oatmeal, and fresh fruit (bananas, apples). So unless you wanted cereal, yogurt, or a waffle, you were out of luck. This could be partly our fault, because the first day we were downstairs at 6, and they had plenty. But the other 2 mornings, we weren’t down to breakfast until a little after 9 (they served until 9:30 those 2 mornings). Still, there are some hotels that will continue to refill until the end, but this didn’t seem to be the case here. It seemed to be more first come, first served. Still, overall, those are minor things compared to the nice rooms that were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

room always clean and nice. never an issue with my special requests. breakfast is great, hot and fresh, but more than that, it is the consistency this location brings. I have stayed at a few Comfort Suites and they are fairly consistent. I have stayed at this location 6 times now and no matter the time of year or day of the week, they are 100% consistent. Friendly, engaging, accommodating, just overall great service, which is why we come back!

This hotel really helped us out when we had a suburban full of luggage and it was no where near check in time. They were able to get one of our rooms ready so we could leave the luggage there and checked in the rest of the party so we could walk right to our rooms later in the day. The lobby has crisp lines, interesting decor and just an all around good experience.

Stayed at this lovely hotel after a day in Sequoia National Park. A bit tricky to get to as the entrance runs parallel with Herndon Street. Follow your GPS instructions carefully. You can see the hotel but need to make a few extra right hand turns to reach your destination. It is next to Costco and 3 blocks from a Walmart (just in case you need to purchase some L’Oreal hair colour because you’ve noticed so much grey in your selfies from Sequoia National Park). Once you’ve coloured your hair, you can settle in for the night in a very clean room & comfy bed. Our suite had a separate section with a sofa, TV & bar fridge. Overall very clean and would stay here again. If going to Yosemite National Park from here, take scenic HWY 41 which is breathtaking.

Nice clean modern hotel, with good facilities. The room was great, quiet & very comfortable. At first guest might feel like there isn't much around but within 10-15 minutes walk there are dozens of restaurants of all types, we had a great night at the 'Yard House'.
