HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

It was a great stay on a sad day for me. I attended my brother's funeral. After a long day it was great to have a clean room and a comfortable bed to rest my body. The breakfast was good also. Just wished they would have had some yogurt. Thank you La Quinta!!!😁

Thank you for taking the time to write the review during this difficult time. I am glad that we were a good place to rest and recover. Normally we have yogurt. I will find out why is wasn't available. My thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

Stayed over the weekend. The room was nice enough and everything was fine except for the constant smirking and dirty looks from Michael? at the front desk. We started avoiding walking thru the lobby after a while. Not very welcoming for bikers. I would not recommend and I'll most def spread the word.

My apologies. It is never our intention to make our guests feel unwelcome. Bike weekends present some unique challenges. The stress of dealing with the demands of the group can tax even our most experienced agents. i will work with him to try and be more accommodating.

When we arrived in Fresno we had not booked ahead and were unaware of an FFA convention being held there. We had searched for several hours for a motel in the area with no success. We stopped at the La Quinta Inn in Fresno and the clerk, Sandra, was very helpful but unable to book us a room at the...

Thank you for mentioning Sandra by name. It is great for moral to be recognized. Obviously I will pass this on and brag to the other LQ GM's.

This hotel was generally up to La Quinta's good standards, except in two areas: when I arrived, the desk clerk had to check if my room had been serviced yet, and room service was still actively cleaning rooms on my floor, when I arrived after check-in time, and the soundproofing between rooms was about the poorest I've experienced in any...

Fortunately comments about noise between rooms is rarer than the railroad noise. We are working on the Hotel right now I will investigate increasing the insulation between rooms. It is pretty common for us to be cleaning rooms after the 3 pm check in time. Often the number of people checking out in the afternoon makes it impossible to have...

Didn't expect much, after reading the reviews of Fresno. This was a fine hotel, with snacks out when we checked in. The room was clean and large. Freeway noise kept me awake, even as tired as I was after our visit to the Sequoia National Park. Breakfast is served free from 6 till 9, typical for a hotel of this...

Thank you for taking the time to write the review. I am surprised the freeway kept you awake. Normally people who are sensitive to noise mention the railroad not the freeway. I do like your positive comments. Please come by again.

They are doing some renovations, which is good to see. The selected contractor does not seem to be doing the best job and the staff were embarrassed and are trying to get it all done correctly. Staff was great.

Yes we are beginning a renovation. First week of May we start swapping out furniture. We have brand new carpet on all the upper floors. We start rebuilding the lobby and breakfast area in May also. The items you lacked was unfortunate. I will definitely discuss it with the housekeeping staff. My apologies.

BEWARE, only stay here if you love to hear trains at night especially when they blow their horns!! Otherwise the hotel was what you would expect. The place was clean and staff was pleasant, but again, little rest was achieved.

If you look through the other reviews on this site you find many people don't notice the train. We even provide ear plugs for those that are worried. The cleanliness and the staff attitude offset the trains for most of the guests. I apologize again. I expressed by regret is a more concrete way through another review site. If you...

Thank you for your input. I hope your wife received the bedding she needed. Fresno has many eating places. Did have the opportunity to see the list we maintain at the desk of close restaurants? Please visit again.
