I reserved here in order to try to get a good night's sleep before an early morning business meeting. Unfortunately the guest next door to me (adjoining doors) was engaged in a non stop coughing/hacking fit which persisted all night. Given that the privacy sign was displayed outside her door the entire time & that she never left the room, I’d guess she was quarantining at the hotel with COVID. The staff was certainly aware of this situation. You could clearly hear the constant coughing outside in the halls too. Yet they placed me next door to it. The sounds of her coughing and equally loud TV (on non stop) permeated my room. I finally couldn’t take it any more & asked to be moved / not exactly a pleasant late night task. The front desk informed me there were no other rooms available on a random Wednesday night. Given my experience working in the hospitality industry, I'm not so sure I believe that. They then went on to ask if there was “anything else that they could do.” Like what? A hacking persistent cough plus blaring TV next door such that I can’t even sleep (never mind have even a nominally pleasant experience while in my room) - it was an absurd question. I asked for ear plugs & they brought them 1/2 hour later so at least there was that. Around 6am I was also confronted with the non stop loud sounds of construction vehicles working on the parking lot outside my window. In addition to the still on going non stop coughing. Seriously??!! Who allows a 6am work start? Where was the warning from the staff that they have loud construction starting at 6am? I should have just left in the middle of the night & driven back home. It was an awful & largely sleepless night. I'm kind of shocked that this Marriott had so little care and concern for the experience of a guest. Other than that, convenient location, friendly/professional staff & a clean and well appointed room. The breakfast buffet was good, dinner menu limited & I wish there was a Starbucks type kiosk to get a latte.…
I thought hotel was great! The rooms are upscale and the service was great. It located nearby 880 and if you have activities in or nearby Fremont this is the place to stay. They gave free breakfast and there is bar located in the lobby of the hotel.
Prior to pandemic time , this is probably my favourite hotel to stay. Come with earth breakfast daily with order to cook omelette station. Room was definitely clean and won’t disappoint me at all. Clean and cosy room always come with great view too. Unfortunately the room was given to me this time is so bad at 4th floor with view of roof top and car park. This is first time I was given to such room and being the elite platinum member still. The service is still hold high standard and gym room is perfectly clean. Enjoy the hospitality of the staff here and always feel safe to stay here. Love the bar at night as i am enjoying the beer selection and not too bad the wine varieties too. Keep it up !
I have stayed at this Marriott almost every week for the last year. They have been universally welcoming, kind and hospitable . It’s unfortunate that I don’t know everyone’s mane but a big shout out to Peter. Really appreciate the set ice here.
My hotel stay was 3/6/21. I contacted customer service through the survey on 3/9/21. On 3/10/21, I received an email stating I will hear back from a manager in 3-5 days. When I did not hear back, I let the rep who contacted me initially that I haven’t heard back. The rep emailed me back saying the manager said they had emailed me. I responded that I hadnt heard from anyone. Today is 3/27/21 and I still haven’t heard from anyone. This was what happened: Hello, I am contacting you today with concerns of racial profiling from your staff. My friend and I checked into the Fremont property on March 6th. After checking in, we went outside. As we returned walking towards the elevator and talking to each other, the man at the front desk asked “Can I help you?” That greeting left us in shock because we didn’t look lost nor his way as to signal we needed assistance. Whenever I enter a hotel, it’s always a “Hello,” “Welcome back,” or “Hello, welcome back” never a “Can I help you?” as if I was not staying at the hotel. We were in our pajamas so it was obvious we were staying in the hotel. Even if it wasn’t obvious, we should not have been greeted in an unwelcoming you look suspicious and you don’t belong/stay here way. Another thing I want to point out, we couldn’t enter the hotel without a room key. The man saw us from outside so he saw walk through the front door (we were the only guests in the lobby at the time) so wasn’t it obvious we used our hotel room key to get in meaning we were guests there? Another thing I would like to point out, housekeeping. Our remote control was out of batteries so we requested a new one. A different remote was brought to our room. I noticed when the lady handed me the remote that she was holding it with a napkin which alerted me that she either cleaned it or it was dirty. I decided to clean the remote and it was filthy! It was covered in some sort of black substance. It was disgusting. When we first arrived, there was hair in the tub and hair stuck to the headboard but I let it go but the remote control was too much dirtiness for me. …
I've been staying here off and on over the past several months. Everyone is friendly and willing to help in any way. I have other options but continue to stay here weekly. My only complaint is there are no microwaves in the room to warm up food.
I personally think that it is a great hotel, the attention and service that I receive daily is excellent. I've been staying here since November and I'll be leaving soon; here they have an excellent management of the prevention of contagion by COVID 19; I hope the pandemic ends soon so that I can return and enjoy all the services that have been closed these days. If you are traveling to the Fremont area I suggest to stay at this hotel.
Very good for large business trips, I stayed for 3 months and everything was great. Some of the areas are closed because of the pandemic but is good to know that they take good care of peoples health. The hotel staff is great.
Good clean hotel and with friendly welcoming staff. Near to Tesla facilities and nearby dining. Front desk personnel are knowledgeable and always eager to help. Have stayed here 8 weeks in 2020 and so far 3 weeks in 2021
I have been staying at this Marriott weekly since March due to the pandemic. They have been very kind, accomodating, and the rooms are very cleab. A special shout out to Amy, Peter, and Rachel. They never fail to make me feel welcome and special. thanks for all you do.
