Right off River Road, in the Russian River Valley, is a wonderful and welcoming place to stay. The Farmhouse is a charming series of buildings, with a Michelin starred restaurant at the front of the property and further back, lovely gardens with lodging buildings, a spa and a swimming pool scattered around the property. Our room had many amenities including...

After a bit of a rough start (which I won't get into here because they made up for it), the Farmhouse Inn gave us an very enjoyable experience for our two night stay and we'll have good memories of our stay for a long time. What's unique was the king deluxe room we were upgraded to, in the back barn,...

Just off River Road, this dining experience is not to be missed. Great food and service, beautiful decor in the restaurant and throughout the property, wonderful sense of place. The spa is open to the public and is one of the best in the region.

The Farmhouse Inn surpassed our expectations in every regard. From the initial warm welcoming that Theresa extended to us, to the wonderful luxury of the room and grounds, our time in Sonoma was enhanced immeasurably by our stay here. The setting is quiet, romantic and revitalizing. Do yourself a wonderful favor and spend a few nights here.

Farmhouse Inn was the beacon of the end of our journey last Christmas. A stunning structure generously adorned with light and secluded enough from the main highway, it nestles quietly in Forestville. The Inn has beautiful rooms and well appointed bathroom with its own steam shower and jacuzzi tub. The hotel ground permits a pool, which was solar heated-that said,...

When we arrived at the Farmhouse Inn we were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff, the check-in process was completed quickly. Included in pleasant conversation with the staff was a nice glass of Chardonnay and a special cookie……..both delicious. We also took advantage of some homemade bath amenities offered for our room. Our bags had been collected from our...

With all the amazing No California restaurants, wines, farm to table, bla, bla, bla, Farmhouse sets itself apart. Year after year, amazing service, creative menu with enough mainstream items and some creative. - ok, we're well traveled but still not into some of the "weird stuff,." to choose and we always experience perfection. Knowledgable sommelier, wines from around the world...

While the location of Farmhouse is quite inconvenient it is worth the journey. The sommelier at Farmhouse is exceptional. She pairs amazing wines from not only California, but Europe as well, with the exceptional food they serve. Perfect as a romantic getaway.

You visited some of our favorite places! We love the views at Copain and the beautiful tasting room at Lambert Bridge, along with the incredible natural scenery of the redwoods and the hills of Dry Creek. We're so glad you enjoyed everything the property has to offer--snacks, soaps, and more! We hope to see you again soon!

One of the perks of living in the Bay Area is that you can "stay-cation" in amazing wine country destinations like Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, etc. This holiday weekend (MLK), we indulged in a stay at Farmhouse Inn in Sonoma's Russian River Valley. There has been a lot of hype surrounding this retreat of late, and I can confidently stay it...

Thank you for the thorough review! We are all about the special touches that make each stay feel thoughtful and cozy. We are especially loving our new in room snacks by local favorite Jimtown Store. A taste of wine country! We hope you'll be back to use the pool and the spa soon! Our hot tub is heated all winter...
