We stayed here initially for our anniversary in August and our experience was not what we had hoped for. They were kind enough to let us stay again. Our experience was a much better the second time. Check in was smooth as it seemed less busy. It was a weekday. We ate at the restaurant onsite and the food was amazing as it was when we first dined there. We opted to not get the wine or beverage pairing. What really stood out this time was the service. Our waiter was a young man who was super knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the food. I wish I remembered his name. We also ordered breakfast in room. The yogurt is our favorite. We couldn’t use the pool since it was cold and rainy but the room was comfortable with a fireplace and heated bathroom floors. I am happy we decided to stay here again. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

From my first phone call with Heidi, I knew I had made the right decision to cancel our reservation with a high end Yountville hotel and switch to the Farmhouse Inn. She was engaging and interested in me and my reason for coming in (anniversary). She did not over promise! Prior to our arrival date, she connected me with Andrea (Concierge), who booked us with local wineries that rolled out the red carpet. The laid back feeling of the property made us feel at home with luxury surroundings. Our room (barn junior suite) had everything -- heated marble floors in the bathroom, votives, outdoor deck (with fireplace), complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, etc. We enjoyed the 4:00 wine tastings every afternoon (a different small winery every day) This provided a nice, relaxing touch -- and informative. All of the staff were friendly, engaging, and welcoming. Lunch by the pool was delicious. The Michelin restaurant was open on Monday (WONDERFUL meal), and a pop up dinner the other nights -- all outside. We felt extremely safe, COVID-wise. Wish we could have stayed even longer. We will definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

You can't go wrong with this one. We loved every minute of it and the dinner was unbelievable too. The hard working and friendly staff cooperates perfectly to make a seamless and wonderful guest experience. The wine tasting every day was great, and the quality superb. Steve was nice to show us around and told us lots about the property. The resort looks perfect and has managed to do so well during the COVID-19 pandemic. They run a tight ship and make sure all are safe. Charlotte, the black cat of the resort, is a sweet girl and kept us company during our 3 day visit.

Strongly recommend. Rooms and beds, plush. Service spot-on. Relaxing location. Joe (co-owner)---who you might see at the 4 pm daily wine tasting hour--makes the place seem like home and a reason to come back.

Wife booked a night here after a day of wine tasting for out anniversary. This review is slightly skewed because we arrived on Monday of labor day when everyone was checking out so we had the place pretty much to ourselves which was great. Rooms are very nice with top of the line everything. We were upgraded to a suite since the place was empty. The suite was over the top with steam shower private outdoor patio. Pool is very nice with food and alcohol service. The highlight of the trip is the restaurant at the hotel that has a Michelin star. Food was off the hook. Outdoor seating due to Covid but very quaint and romantic. Food and Bev Mgr. particularly friendly and helpful. He was working his rear off. I would highly recommend. Only negative is it is not near a nice downtown like Napa. But the other amenities will make up for it. We met the owner and he was friendly and engaging as all employees were.
