We had a fantastic time at the Christmas Tree Vineyard, and can't wait to go back there! Joe made the most delicious breakfast for us. Great welcome, and comfortable rooms. It was the perfect place to rest before our rafting trip.

We stayed here for two nights while in the area for whitewater rafting. We normally stay in Auburn, but wanted to be out of town and closer to Foresthill. This was an amazing find! The hosts were extremely friendly and made sure that all of our needs were met, including early breakfast so we could get to the river launch... More

We stayed for two nights for a wedding and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. After driving awhile and thinking we were lost we found an most gracious host awaiting to greet us. A beautiful, quite and incredibly friendly feeling enveloped us. We were very quickly won over with quite enthusiasm that "Joe" had. The lodge is warm and welcoming,... More

The location and hospitality of the host were the highlights of this bed & breakfast. Set deep in the Sierra Nevada forest outside of tiny Foresthill, it was a perfect place to enjoy a peaceful night. The owner, Joe, greeted us, gave us a tour, and left us to our privacy. In the morning he cooked a full breakfast including... More

We stayed for 2 nights while river rafting on the Middle-Fork American River. The lodge is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. It feels like home! The owner Joe is very friendly and accommodating. He cooks the most wonderful breakfasts! We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay for our rafting weekend. We highly recommend the Christmas Tree... More

We had a wonderful weekend. We have not been that relaxed in a very long time. The proprietors are very hospitable and enjoyable people to speak with. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! The rooms comfortable.

Stayed for 3 nights while day hiking in nearby canyons/mountains with friends. Wonderfully appointed, great beds/showers after a long day of hiking and fantastic breakfasts: Joe and Liz got up at 5:00 to make a delicious home cooked breakfast every morning: omelets, biscuits and gravy, ham/sausage, fresh fruit and juices. Circular fire place, Direct TV, and a patio that opens... More

We had an incredible experience at the Christmas Tree Vineyard Lodge. Joe, LIz, and Claudia could not have been nicer. The food was exceptional !!!! But this is more than a bed and breakfast. It felt like a lodge with six rooms and a kitchen and a large circular fireplace. They are open year round and it would be so... More

This lodge is in a beautiful location and is very clean and comfortable! Our hiking club is completing our "Walk Across California" this summer. We used this lodge as our "home" base while hiking 65 miles from Foresthill to Alpine Meadows. Joe, Liz and Claudia cheerfully served us a fabulous breakfast daily at 5:30AM so we could get an early... More

Great atmosphere and great people! We needed a place for my brother, his wife and 2 daughters to stay. A call to the Christmas Tree Vineyard Lodge was just what we needed. The folks there were wonderful to all of us. The setting in the forest is just beautiful.
