We arrived here with four adults, one kid and a baby. The Camelia family room was perfect for all of us with a splendid view of the pool, it consist of two rooms with king size beds and a bathroom. The bathtub was big and a hairdryer also available. There was a couple of mineral water and tea bags as... More

For 3 adult and one child we stayed in a 2 bedroom and paid around 499 ringgit for a night. The bathroom looks like a cheap hotel bathroom. The bathtub floods when you shower. The shower head is bad. The bed looks ok but with shoddy workmanship and stains on linen. The only mirror is in the one in the... More

I stayed in a one bedroom suite and all the facilities and amenities are very good. The room is perfect. However, the location of each block is very hard to find and I have to walk very far to my block (which my room is located). This place is suitable for honeymoon because it is quiet and cool.

I entered the room to find out the water supply was cut. Called reception but told to wait for 3 hours. When the water arrived, the bath tub shower was clogged. I was having my shower with a pool of dirty water. Then at night I wanted to open my corked wine bottle. So I requested for a wine bottle... More

The resort was opened in 2000 and it was a beautiful and popular spot for local tourist. The French-theme resort was busy and bustling with activities then. But a recent visit turned out to be a great disappointment. Checking in was a long procedure as there was only one receptionist who took 20 minutes to check in the guest before... More

Service - The staffs are friendly and helpful. Good service. I love it. Room - Clean and nice. Lovely scented room. We got mountain view, very inspiring. But I would suggest street view room. More worth for this type of street theme hotel. Food - breakfast is nice. Suggest to have more variety of food. The Street restaurant is very... More

The place is nice and pretty to take photos, but actually I did hope something more than this. The area was quite small and nothing much to do if you are staying in the hotel. So I recommend to visit here for 1-2 hours only. I visited Colmar before going to Genting by taxi from Bukit Bintang. Cost us MYR... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Colmar Tropicale was modeled after 16th century Colmar town, north east of Alsace, France, also incorporatingarchitectural designs and elements from ancient surrounding villages of Riquewihr, Turckheim and Kaysersberg. The realization of this French themed village derived from the wish list of the Malaysia's fourth Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, who upon his visit to the region of Alsace were so impressed, that it inspired Tan Sri Vincent Tan, the founder of Berjaya Corporation Berhad to replicate the actual Colmar town in Malaysia. The resort comprised of 235 rooms and suites, offers 8 food & beverage outlets / lounges with food variety ranging from local & international cuisine to an authentic French fine dining restaurant. It also offers meeting rooms and banqueting facilities. ... more   less
