Spent 4 nights there for a wedding and sorry I did. Room had a musty odor that could not be eliminated. Pillows had clean pillow cases but were old and uncomfortable with stains. They are in need of being replaced since 1954! My wife walked into a huge pot hole in the parking lot that broke the heal off her $160 pair of pumps;not repairable. She injured her hand and knee in the abrupt fall, lucky it didn’t require a trip to the hospital.Lighting in our room awful,no overhead light or fan. The lighting in our room was archaic. In general this place is way overdue a complete overhaul. One of the two elevators was not in service, guest not notified in advance. The wait for the single elevator over the busy weekend unacceptable. The hotel has nothing to offer<spend your money elsewhere.
I had a situation where I needed to stay at lake Natomas Inn for a few weeks a couple times. I can’t say enough about how well they treated me. From food service staff to housekeeping to bartenders to management. They made me feel at home and treated me with respect. There understanding and compassion was above and beyond. The facility was clean and well maintained. I will never stay at any other motel in Folsom.
Great little hotel in Old Folsom, within walking distance to nice shops, bars and great restaurants. We have been coming here for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you’re in kayaking or SUP, there’s access to the river behind the hotel.
Stayed for one night with a friend. The location is great, literally 3 minutes walking from Sutter Street. Front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming, definitely a warm start! The room was very basic, like a motel but slightly better. Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was fantastic. Overall the property is a bit sad, it needs some TLC. Rooms are dated-bathrooms were clean but had super old vanities but new floors. Carpet was pretty old but clean. There was a super tacky sign on the mirror telling you not to steal the hairdryer or you’d be charged $45. Thanks for the reminder Lobby was basic, but could be better. Bar was open along with breakfast and dinner but no room service. The room had tacky xerox copies of the menu available. The major bummer was in trying to sleep. The exterior of the hotel is illuminated with what seem like 100,000 watt flood lights that are on all night long and seem to be pointed directly into the windows. It seriously was like the sun was shining all night long. If you’ve ever wondered what trying to sleep in the Arctic circle during summer is like, you can stay here for a night. It was really hard to sleep even with black out curtains. I did call the front desk in the middle of the night and asked them to do something about the lights. They did seem to turn the light away from the building but that only helped a little. When that bright of a light is shining anywhere near a window it’ll light up the entire room, even on the second floor. The lights are around the entire perimeter and I’m not sure what purpose they serve. They’re old and falling apart. Should either be removed or replaced. Overall this place is acceptable for one night but it is definitely not a destination itself. Only save was the location and awesome, friendly staff.…
We stayed here for three nights for a friend’s wedding. The hotel was a five minute walk to downtown. Rooms were average with great air conditioning! Hotel, bar and restaurant employees were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
