Me and my wife were looking for a stay by the kinneret/sea of Galilee, which gained back its massive reputation as one of the most desirable attractions in Israel, due to the fact that during last winter , the amount of water flown to it was enormous. We’ve been in Ein -Gev village some 30 years ago, when it was much smaller. Now days , there is a selection of types of rooms/apartments in the village, sea rooms and view rooms , to name just a few.We were recommended by friends of ours ( who have been there few times recently) to book a view room. Luckily, there was one available when we made the booking just one day prior to our arrival. The view rooms section is located in the southern side of the village, and as the name suggests, there is a wonderful sea view from the rooms, very large lawn and grass area between the rooms and the sea, and some hammocks , chairs, and barbecue facilities , all scattered around outdoor. The place enjoys a relaxed ,pleasant atmosphere and the beach on the northern side is quite large, full with lounge chairs and big enough to accommodate the village’s visitors. Breakfast was served according to the new corona virus regulations and still, was quite impressive with a large selection on offer. In summary, a very pleasant, enjoyable day by the magnificent Kinneret

We booked what we expected to be a two-bedroom suite for three adults, but turned out to have one bedroom and a convertible bed in the lounge area. Still, we were only here for one night so it didn't matter too much. Not much variety in the resturants on site, so we needed to go out to find something suitable. Breakfast buffet limited.

We stayed here with a tour group of about 34 people. Our room had a view (as most rooms do) of the Sea of Galilee and a beautiful view of the city of Tiberias at night. The rooms were very simple but clean and very functional. The remote controls for the heating/ac units were somewhat confusing but we eventually figured them out (It uses a symbol of the sun for heat and it looks a lot like the snowflake for cool).
Their breakfast and dinner buffets are pretty amazing with a little bit of everything available.

Stayed at the View Room for 2 nights (Room 724). First night was a disaster as the exterior wall of our room was infested with ants. 30 of them crawled up our bed at night, I got up 3 times from 1:30 AM till 4:30 AM to eliminate and remove the ants from the bed, all in the dark so my toddler son won’t wake up as he’s a light sleeper), My son woke up at 4:30 AM because of small ant bites and needless to say my night and following day were excruciating (felt like a tough night at an outdoor trip) .Next day Straight in morning I approached the front desk, showed them a video of the ants in my bed and my son moaning and a picture of approx 30 dead ants we shared a bed with. Management of hotel had the staff clean the room and exterminate the ants with chemicals, but failed to provide any compensation which is just in this case.
Second night was good with no ants in bed 🙏🙏
Pros: Other than that, staff is friendly and custom oriented. Breakfast was fresh with quality products and good variety, private beach is nice and quiet in mornings.
Cons: Place has lots of bugs (especially in August where it gets really hot), Air conditioning in the room is noisy and did many “tics” at night which was annoying to people who are sensitive (like water drops inside the upper wall), rooms are descent and equipped but are not well kept by cleaning staff (we had spider webs behind the door on the wall)

The holiday village is located on the eastern side of the Sea of Galilee, a short drive from the kibbutz of the same name.
The holiday village is beautiful and tidy and all the rooms are within touching distance of the water.
There is a tidy beach with rescue services, sports facilities, there is a supermarket and a dining room for those who ordered meals.
You should take the ground floor rooms. They have outdoor seating and a private barbecue area.
Some of the family suites have a fully equipped kitchen that includes dishes, pots, a microwave, a refrigerator and a hob for cooking, where you can prepare food.
The resort is a short drive distance from many area attractions.
A good restaurant nearby is the fish restaurant located in the kibbutz.
There are plenty of parking spaces for hotel guests.
Highly recommend, full value for money.

This is my second visit within a month. Last stay was for 1 night and was nice , this Stay was not great - they are so expensive so one can expect to get a nice attitude from the staff. We were 4 rooms , paid 5600 NIS each, and asked to stay for 1 hour more - only one room - even though the website showed that there are available rooms , George the receptionist, didn’t agree no matter what, was rude, and the cleaning manager stood outside the room at 11.01 t make sure we are packing !!
I will not come back to a place that treats its guests , and returning guests like this.
They charge you as 5 stars hotel, and treats you like a hostel.
Last there was a mouse in the room ! When we left !

Facilities were nice, dining hall spacious, food was varied and delicious. Beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee. Laundry service provided at a reasonable price. Rooms were comfortable, though decor was sparse with not enough lateral surface area in the shower room.
Staff were all service oriented. Only problem was the internet went out in some room group areas within a couple hours of our arrival. In 3 days it wasn’t repaired. However, we could go to registration to use the internet there.

We are coming to this place for many years. This year the management have replaced the large shades we used to hide under by the beach with tiny umbrellas which are good enough for two people.
Not enough beach chairs

This resort is owned and run by a Kibbutz. I stayed there for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The chalet is clean and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The air is fresh with constant sea breeze. The sea view is manificient and reminded me of Jesus performing miracles as recorded in the Bible.
It has basic facilities and a mini-mart
Overall, I had a pleasant experience and left with good memories

We took the new villas by the sea. Cute unit, with small bedroom, kitchette and living room were 3 kids were sleeping, i think it is too small for 3 kids.
The unit was not clean, the balcony was even dirty. Also the unit entrance was moody and dirty.

Rooms have hair dryers. There are probably about 3 wall plugs and you'll need a converter for them. There is also a 2-pronged N.American outlet in the hair dryer unit that you can use without a converter.

Hi, do you have laundry facilities on site that guests may use?
Answer from jamom49506
Grand Rapids, Michigan112 contributions31 helpful votes
There are 2 washing machines and dryers available for guests to use. You have to buy tokens from the gift shop to put in the machines--you can buy a little "package" of detergent at the same time. 2 machines aren't a lot for the whole resort, but if you time it right you will do fine.
