We come here every winter. No snow this year but the hotel has an indoor pool that the kids loved. Food is expensive but everything else was perfect. Not too far from Yosemite. The sleigh ride was a hit.

There are a few things you should know before you stay at Tenaya 1)It is over an hour's drive from Yosemite Valley. That is a LONG drive. The valley is where you'll be doing most of your hiking during your visit and its cool in the morning when you're excited to get moving but after a long exhausting day of...

We had a terrific one night stay celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious at the restaurant and my husband was given his choice of dessert to celebrate the event. The staff very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the ice skating, hot tub, and steam room. When we departed we drove into Yosemite Valley and spent the day; it was less...

We live in Oakhurst and were babysitting two young grandchildren. The drive up was only 20 minutes from our home. We spend a night and a day at the hotel. The kids loved playing in the snow and swimming in the indoor swimming pool. The rooms were warm and comfy. The food in the restaurant was wonderful! The hotel was filled...

Great place any time of the year, with or without kids! The restaurants were a bit pricey, but delicious. We enjoyed the ice rink and the local hike. Another advantage is the location of the lodge, only a few minutes from Yosemite entrance and Mariposa Grove.

We stayed at Tenaya having spent the day in Yosemite. It is only about 10 minutes from e park gate and thus very well located. The lodge itself is large, but you. do not get the feelin g of mass tourism, rather a well appointed and cozy chalet tucked away in the mountains! Rooms are large, comfortable and appointed with...

All of us really enjoyed our visit. Even though there was no snow there were lots of things for us and our kids to do. The cottages were comfortable and the surroundings were very pretty. We brought our dog and the dining staff went out of their way to allow him to be with us when we ate. Staff was...

I really enjoyed the quiet quaintness of the cottages. They were very relaxing and enjoyable. I especially liked the thermostat controlled fire place. The restaurants were expensive for the value. I felt like the wine and beer options were limited. I was also disappointed the the fish and chips were not made from cod and the huevos rancheros did not...

We arrived the day after a snow storm, and it was magical. The lobby was beautiful, with a very tall christmas tree. Although it was busy, check-in was reasonably efficient. We stayed in one of the cottages. We were upstairs which was probably good since I am not sure the sound insulation is perfect. There were no instructions for the...
