Not only is this place surrounded in beauty but the fact that we can bring our whole family ( fur babies) makes this place the best place ever! It’s like even the pets are so excited to be a part of the trip that they all seem to be on their best behavior!

The Tenaya Lodge is a shame because it’s a shadowy of what it should be. First off, as many have said the check-in process is comically bad and disrespectful to paying guests. We spent $500 a night, which is actually lower than normal for a cabin and had to line up for 30 minutes, only to be told at 5pm (an hour after check-in time) that the room wasn’t ready. They said they’d call to tell us it was, never did. The service isn’t good at all. In the Explorer cabin they have a sign saying they like to include a walking stick and board games but there were none. They made the food as inconvenient as possible during covid. Instead of delivering food, they want you to come get it, in a crowded lobby with tons of people waiting for food and trying to check-in. They’ve taken every effort to crowd people in. The only reason the rating isn’t lower is because the bones are all there. The cabin was great, the food was actually good at the restaurants, and the location can’t be beat. Unfortunately they take that all for granted and disrespect customers and the concept of a hotel. Very little incentive to do this versus Airbnb.

Stayed here for a night to go into Yosemite park. Very helpful staff. Very clean. Well designed hotel with nice indoor/ outdoor pools. Children will love it! Good covid precautions!! We did not use hotel restaurant since there were many restrictions. We did drive into town for a Mexican dinner that was fantastic! Definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful property, views and surroundings. My first time here. Despite covid, the lodge made it feel like a normal vacation. Loved the fireplaces! The pools looked inviting and I’m bummed I forgot my bathing suit.

Stayed in cottage . Bed was uncomfortable and linens were old . Big hard pillows and had to ask for blankets. Floor squeaked like crazy. Setting was nice amoungst the trees. Checkin was smooth and friendly but we were not informed of restricted access to park due to road works! When we found out and complained to front desk of this they were a matter of fact and it didnt seem to be in their best interest to keep guests informed , probably because of low occupancy. Very dissapointing .
