We spent 5 nights at Tenaya Lodge and love it! The facility is clean. Due to COVID, there are no daily housekeeping but it’s only a phone call away for more towels, shower supplies and garbage pick up. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The main restaurant Jackalope’s has great food and a full bar. We had breakfasts and many dinners there. And the concierge was excellent!! She gave us so many helpful maps and amazing summary of hikes within Yosemite and the Lewis Clark trails. My children love the outdoor and indoor pool after a hard day in Yosemite. The hotel is very family friendly. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Yosemite. Highly recommend this hotel.

We’ve eaten dinner here before and always found it overpriced and so so. But tried to go in tonight and they told us and everyone else it would be a 30 minute wait while 70% of the restaurant was empty! Then, we asked to just dine at the bar and they told us we could only have a drink at the bar but no food. They Lied to us and said it was due to a covid restriction even though the covid rules state you cannot just have a drink but must also order food. And we had eaten at the bar last winter when covid was much worse. All of it was so non sensical and frustrating. They finally admitted they just purposely understaffed and didn’t have the staffing to serve their guests food...but the hotel seemed full! We are done with this crappy corporate establishment who cares more about the bottom line than their guests.

We chose Tenaya Lodge for our first visit to Yosemite. There were some hiccups along the way, staff seemed disorganized and mistakes were made with bookings and reservations, but they did make every mistake right and even took some off the bill for any inconvenience. They receive a 4 star because of the cleanliness in the room, it was obvious that no one looked at it before it was assigned to us. The toilet bowl had not been recently cleaned and had a fine layer of mold covering it, the toilet did not flush well either. There is no housekeeping service due to Covid, which is fine except they do not leave enough supplies to keep you from having to call for various things like extra coffee pods. They also do not leave drinking glasses except for coffee cups in the room or ice buckets. Very inconvenient if you want to have coffee and also need just water at any time. Other than being considered about cleanliness of the room we had a great time and staff gave great service.

I booked through a travel agency, where I paid. I was then charged an extra $106, for apparently fees for things I never used. I called customer service accounting and left my number, but never received a call back. It gave an appearance of the old bait and switch costs. I wouldn’t stay there again and will advise others not to.

We loved everything about this resort, which is just outside Yosemite. Check-in was great, room and bathroom were a great size and immaculate, the pool area was well maintained and the heated pool was the perfect temperature. We enjoyed every breakfast at Jackalope's Bar and Grill and the Memorial Day BBQ they had was wonderful with plenty of food, live music, a bonfire; it was well organised and obviously a lot of time and effort went into it. The highlight of the trip was the all day tour we went on through the lodge, if I’m lucky enough to get back to Yosemite I would do this all over again.
