Just finishing a 3 day stay at Tenaya and couldn’t be more pleased that we chose it. This lodge has everything you need for a trip to the Yosemite area. I highly recommend the tour to Yosemite run by the hotel. Although not cheap, our...More
This 4 diamond hotel was a pleasant surprise!!! Very friendly staff. Kyle the bartender in Jackalope & Bryon in Sierra were exceptional. There are dedicated concierges in a separate room to handle all of the activities day & night. We took the full day tour...More
We just stayed in this hotel as a family of 4. We booked a cottage, but unfortunately these were not available, due to the fire (which I understand). They therefore upgraded us to a suite for the same price as the cottage (more than 600...More

We stayed in the cottages a few weeks ago and they are nice. Ours had one bedroom with another open bedroom/living room with a fireplace and one bath. Our cottage had 3 units so you do share a wall but never heard anyone on either side. We had a nice balcony that looked over the woods. There is a path from the cottages to the main lodge and it is just a short walk. We did walk at night and didn't have trouble but if you just take your phone with light you'd be fine. We liked having our own space but I'm sure the lodge rooms are nice too.
We had the breakfast included and the buffet is really nice. We ate breakfast outdoors on the patio and it was lovely. On cool mornings they have a fire pit going.
Also, we used the concierge several times to book tours, find good hiking trails, etc... and they were very nice and helpful. This is a beautiful upscale hotel near a National Park-so great!!!!
