The room was large and had great views of the creek and the wooded hillside. Plenty of room lights and easy to manage heating. Our host had thought about all our possible needs and provided a welcoming and very comfortable accommodation. We would definitely stay again. Lovely fresh breakfast every morning amd flexible to our days itinerary. We were in great hands. Thank you.

We recently stayed at Big Creek Inn B&B mid July 2020 (during pandemic). It was our first trip to Yosemite and I did a lot of research beforehand to select the best possible place to reside to enjoy the park for 3 nights AND feel safe about our living surroundings. After reading the outstanding online reviews for Big Creek Inn B&B, I wisely decided to choose this destination in Fish Camp. The reviews are spot on. The place is immaculately clean, well appointed, quiet, and ideally located. The Innkeeper Pamela is kind, attentive and accommodating. You get the feeling that she really cares that you enjoy your time spent at her B&B which we did immensely. Pamela will help to make sure you get the most out of what you're looking to accomplish.
We felt safe inside because it's obvious Pamela keeps a clean and orderly house. We were instantly at ease once we arrived and entered. Everything was spotless & organized, in proper working condition, and attention to detail was certainly evident. The linen was fresh, shower was excellent, and the King sized bed was very comfortable. The TV satellite setup was modern with hundreds of DVD movies to select from as well. The daily continental breakfast was outstanding and well presented offering a substantial quality meal each day with plenty of variety. We stayed in the Mariposa room which was very large and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the creek and trees making you genuinely feel like you were living in the middle of a forest.

Our first B&B ever! We will definitely visit Big Creek Inn again. Very clean and attention to detail. Pamela made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Hand sanitizers and wipes are in the common area and in the rooms. Pamela has lots of knowledge about the park and can help you plan your day hikes and your visit to the Valley. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the creek water and birds after a long day of hiking. It was nice to have a place to feel at home away from home.

As the title says, perfection. We visited in the last two days of April. This is located two miles from the entrance to the park so absolutely ideal if intending to visit the trail to the Sequoia Trees or enter the park. We were late arrivals due to a late pick up of our rental from San Francisco. Pamela wasn’t concerned about us checking in late and recommended the extended route to have the best view of the park on our way in. So glad we did, it was breathtaking. On arrival we let ourselves in following the instructions sent to us. The room was spacious, well set out and very comfortable. The balcony looks out over the stream, has sun shining onto it as you sit out on the seating enjoying the ambiance. There is communal decking downstairs. The steps up to the room were easy to use and the communal kitchen is on the first floor. Breakfast was set up for us in the morning. Pamela greeted us in the morning and provided advice on local sightseeing baring in mind we only had the one day. We followed her plan, saw the sequoia trees, visited the swinging bridge and ate locally for lunch. We then had a leisurely evening sitting on the balcony relaxing before settling down for a 05:30 departure the following day to get to Vegas for 13:00. As Pamela knew this she provided an early breakfast for us which was greatly appreciated. The property is easy to find, has a store a few yards up the road for essential items you’ve forgotten. We had the Mariposa room which we highly recommend. The bed is large and comfy. It has fireplace that is activated by the thermostat if your feeling cold. The kitchen also has a large selection of DVDs on display should you wish to sit back and watch tv , which had more than enough channels available. The room had its own fridge. On looking at the previous reviews I see the last two were from the UK, like us. So Pamela must be doing something really well to have us all turn up at a B&B thousands of miles away.

My wife and I recently stayed at Big Creek Inn for 4 nights in during Summer 2020 in order to visit Yosemite. Pamela's inn is absolutely safe and clean. She follows proper CDC guidance in terms of cleaning and indoor activities. My wife and I both felt very safe at Pamela's Bed & Breakfast. I consider myself a neat and orderly person and found both the common areas and bedroom to be phenomenally kept.

The rooms are lovely with thoughtful amenities. We really appreciated how Pamela helped us plan our daily hikes in the park and took into account our abilities at the time (some hikes can be very strenuous for the weekend warrior).

I would highly recommend the Big Creek Inn B&B to everyone, even during the current CoVID-19 Pandemic. Virtually all attendees at Yosemite (operating at 50% capacity through 10/31/2020) wore masks and were conscious of social distancing.

We stayed in the Mariposa room for two nights and were absolutely amazed by the standard of our accommodation. This is way beyond a B&B! Not only did we have a huge bed, a beautiful balcony and a thermostat-controlled fireplace, our room also had 2(!) bathrooms and a huge walk-in wardrobe! We loved the peace and quiet of the house, only a couple of miles from the park. Pamela couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful with advice and little extras (when she heard we were planning to walk the Mist Trail she immediately brought us two waterproof ponchos).
The breakfast had some limitations due to Covid and was served on a self-service basis outside the room. It consisted of bagels, bread, cream cheese, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. There is a lovely store just a couple of minutes’ walk away in Fish Camp where you can stock up on sandwiches and other provisions before going to the park. Tenaya Lodge has a great restaurant for dinner (and a good gift shop) and is less than five minutes by car.
Our only complaint was that we couldn’t find the B&B at first and drove past it a couple of times as it does not have a sign on the road. Pamela explained that she had to remove the sign after inconsiderate people would repeatedly ring her doorbell in the middle of the night so I don’t blame her.. .Anyway, look out for the Fish Camp store and it’s the next group of houses on your left.

My husband and I stayed at Big Creek Inn for three nights in early April and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Yosemite. Pamela was very helpful and knowledgeable with the area and offered us some great tips. Our room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The view with the balcony overlooking the creek was beautiful and a great way to unwind after a long day hiking. We almost wished it was colder so we could have used the fireplace more (turns on with a switch) but it was nice to have it included in the room and in winter this would be ideal. The Continental Breakfast was varied each morning and we loved how coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks and snacks were complimentary and available at any hour. Pamela's DVD selection is also pretty impressive and a nice feature which we took use of. The B&B is about 2 miles from the South entrance to Yosemite (still about an hour to Yosemite Valley). Oakhurst is about 15-20 minutes from Fish Camp which has quite a few dinner options which I would recommend driving to as the dinner options in Fish Camp are very limited. All in all, we had a great stay and are so glad we chose Big Creek Inn!

The Big Creek Inn was a wonderful spot for launching our recent trip to Yosemite at the end of April. It is ideally located near the southern entrance to the park. My husband and I stayed for two nights and were very impressed by the hostess, Pamela. She was welcoming, and informative, but non - intrusive and truly seemed to care that her guests enjoy their stay and appreciate Yosemite. The Big Creek Inn is a beautifully updated B&B and is immaculately maintained. I stress this because I felt that all COVID precautions were being taken by Pamela and I felt very safe. Pamela also provided a nice variety of breakfast offerings and many numerous extra amenities adding to our total experience. It was also delightful to have a fireplace in our room as well as a wonderful view of a rushing creek from our balcony. Very peaceful !!! Definitely would recommend The Big Creek Inn!

This was my first trip to Yosemite (April 2021) and staying at the Big Creek Inn added measurably to our whole trip experience. We appreciated the effort to make us Covid-19 safe, the beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms, and the breakfast each morning. Our host, Pamela, thought of everything for making us feel at home! She also provided great tips on visiting Yosemite, local hikes, as well as good eating spots for dinner. We highly recommend staying here!

There are so many things to love about this Inn. It's a ~10 minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite and ~20 minutes from Oakhurst so the location is amazing. The balcony from our room oversaw a beautiful meadow accompanied by the sound of running water in the foreground.
Pam, the innkeeper, has absolutely thought of every little detail. From decor to informational pamphlets to her generous offers of her Yosemite wisdom, she was absolutely the highlight of our experience. Every recommendation she made was spot on and may have saved our trip during a record breakingly busy 4th of July weekend.

If you find yourself deep in research planning your travel to the park, look no further, this is where you want to stay :)

The closest restaurant is 3/4 of a mile away. Not walking distance because there are no sidewalks or street lights. There is a general store/deli that is walking distance 1/4 mile away.
