We had a great stay at White Chief Mountain. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room is big and comfy. The bathroom was ok - it might need a little work. But it was certainly clean. The location is perfect, close to the Park entrance, and beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommend it!

We stayed one night. The room was big with two big comfy beds. Service was fine but Shirley's burger was the best of it all :) It¨s short way to the amazing Yosemite National park We left happy and full!!

My friend and I stayed at the White Chief Mountain Lodge for 3 nights in August and were pleasantly surprised! (The photos on booking.com leave a lot to be desired!) We found that the rooms, although dated, were spotlessly clean, a good size and very comfortable. Each room had its own parking space which was very handy indeed. The lady...

The location is beautiful and has great potential. We stayed in a lodge at the edge of the forest. All accommodation in the area is expensive, this was amongst the cheapest but that doesn't excuse a room that hasn't been cleaned properly, I checked under the bed on leaving as we had dropped some makeup and it was filthy -...

We stayed one night, before entering Yosemite. It is conveniently located outside the park, so it enjoys a nice price, and quick groceries, as opposed to lodging inside the park. The staff is very friendly and nice, and the place is a hotel that feels like a real canin lodge. There is dinner and breakfast, and nearby great food options....

Really basic lodging. Motel is in serious need of updating. Needs new shower. No air conditioning.Walls paper thin, can hear guests in adjacent rooms. Poor experience. Only positive it was close to Yosemite entrance.

My family and I booked a two-night stay at White Chief Mountain Lodge a couple of weeks ago. We had read the reviews on TripAdvisor prior to our visit, and were expecting the worst. But we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely kind and helpful to us, the room was spacious for four people and the balcony pointed right...

We'd booked to stay here to visit Yosemite at the last minute so we didn't have a lot of choice and knew this wasn't going to be five star. However there are some basic things that you would expect to be in place. For example the room was not cleaned or visited by the housemaid during our stay. The shower...

Run as fast as you can, AWAY from here! The worst dump hole I have ever stayed in, even for the one night it was awful. Dead bugs smashed on the window, on the shower wall, and speak of the tiny climb in shower, the paint was all peeled off of it. No A/C, no fan, and when we asked...

A person once advised me - "If you don't set your expectations too high, you won't be disappointed ". Probably not a truer word spoken when staying at White Chief. Basic, clean enough that your not wearing HAZMAT gear, and expensive - oh and very close to Yosemite. It is what it is! You pay for being close to the...
