Charming, completely renovated Victorian gingerbread mansion, decorated to the hilt with extravagant, time-period appropriate antique furnishings. We stayed three days and enjoyed every minute of it! The property is meticulously maintained. There is a luscious and interesting garden on the grounds. The bathrooms are all updated. Each room is spacious, unique and interesting. We were permitted to tour the rooms...

We stayed four nights in Veneto and it was amazing. Our room was on the third floor so it was a bit of a hike but it was well worth it for the privacy the room provided. This was only our second time staying in a B&B and so we were a bit skeptical about how comfortable we would be....

We stayed at the Gingerbread Mansion in Ferndale, Ca., for 1-night in late Apr ($174). The Gingerbread, a beautifully restored Victorian Mansion housing a dozen rooms on three floors, is located a short block from the main street with its heritage buildings and restaurants. We stayed in the Ziporah room on the 2nd floor, certainly one of the smallest and...

With Route 101 closed, we had a very long detour getting to the Gingerbread Mansion, but are glad we made it! Coming in after hours, we were greeted by Sydney who let us know that we could call if we needed anything. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The whole house was. All of the staff that we came in...

We stayed in April 2017, the welcome was kindof luke warm......which got better to be fair. Some would say that the ambience was quaint and Victorian there are others that would say it was dark, spooky and to be honest wrt the bed damned uncomfortable....beds need upgradig and not rely on this "Victorian" catch all

We ( two couples) shared the "Hidden Room" at the Gingerbread mansion in March of 2017. The owners have done an excellent job of creating a quintessential B&B experience. There are several nicely furnished rooms downstairs that make up the common area. The "hidden room" is at the back of the house - nicely secluded from both the common area...

Even in a town known for its Victorian architecture, the Gingerbread Mansion Inn stands out for its visual extravagance, both inside and out. The exterior facade is perhaps the most striking in Ferndale. Interior rooms verge on Victorian fantasy, but are great fun and perfectly maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. An outstanding breakfast is included in the...

We arrived in Ferndale in late March after a number of long days on the road. The Gingerbread Mansion - like Ferndale - is totally over the top. So just embrace it. Solicitous staff, yummy breakfasts and picture perfect sitting rooms make it the perfect place to relax with a good book. We also had some lovely conversations with other...

My first time in a bed and breakfast and this was beautiful! We stayed in the Hideaway Suite since we had the kids & all slept well. Beds were comfortable and room cozy albeit a tad chilly. Breakfast the next morning was made to order, delicious and more than we could eat. I was disappointed that the town was basically...
