We (a couple) stayed two days, at $145 a night. The views are lovely and the owner was very gracious about our very late (9pm) arrival. But we have traveled all over the world and never, in Denmark or elsewhere, paid that much per night with no cleaning at all. No cleaning of the room, no changing of towels, no... More

First let me say thank you for your very pleasant visit to Ye Olde danish inn. I am sorry that you did not find everything to your satisfaction. Regarding cleaning the room and making of the bed, as well as providing fresh towels, we are always more than happy to accommodate any request our valued guests may have. We do... More

We stayed in the Copenhagen Suite which consisted of a living room, bedroom and bathroom, with an eating nook that had a microwave, refrigerator and dishes and utensils. The Inn is located up the hill from town, but within easy walking distance. The views from the private decks are terrific. It felt like having your own home but located in... More

We spent one terrific night here and wish we had more. The accommodations are in a guest cottage, with a separate bedroom (and Danish bed), and a kitchenette with a dining table. We didn’t prepare meals but it is certainly possible. There is a small refrigerator with water, and a coffee maker capable of 10 cups. The living space has... More

We had a lovely time visiting Ferndale and so glad we stayed at the YODI. Our accommodation was very comfortable with a living room/dining room combo including a tv, quite a variety of books, a microwave, small refrigerator and coffeemaker. The separate bedroom had a comfortable queen bed and en suite bathroom with shower. Everything was immaculate! We especially loved... More

This place is a find...a couple of blocks off the main street and up the hill to afford panoramic views of the area. The owner was a very gracious host who made us feel like family guests. It really has a homey feel and the town was really fun and an easy walk from this facility.

We just spent one night here and it was perfect for the three of us. It was comfortable and quiet. It felt homey, which was nice after staying at a couple of chain hotel/motels. Since we travel with our son, having a separate bedroom/living room gives us more space. It's an easy walk to the restaurants and shops in Ferndale.... More

Ye Olde Danish Inn was a real find, and we loved our stay there. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and we really enjoyed chatting to them. They are such interesting people, I think I could have talked with them for hours. The Inn sits on the hillside just on the outskirts of Ferndale, and is in the perfect... More

First of all. We might be a little biased as we are in fact from Denmark. But we really enjoyed our very short stay and would have loved a couple of more nights here. Ferndale is a little gem and the house on the hill, Ye Olde Danish Inn, is also a great find. It is cheap for what you... More

Uffa G. And his lovely mate offer a beautiful stay in Northern California with a fusion of the Netherlands and the Oreint. The acclimation are best, clean and creative. Nice stop on the PCH. If you stand more that 6'1, the bed is a bit short but it is only for one night or two.

Perfect for families. We were there: my husband and I and our two sons. Our room had two separate rooms, one where the kids slept and the other one for us. It is surrounded by woods where the kids could play by themselves. The room had also a nice little balcony. The owner gave us some good recommendations for dinner... More
