Detailed Reviews
Spacious and clean rooms, polite and friendly staff, wonderful taverna with sea food and greek dishes. Near to a lovely sandy beach with shallow water. Many parking places. Good choice for a summer vacation.

Nice hotel recently renovated, very close to the beach bar.
Rooms very clean and tidy.
suprised disgned for couples
breakfast could be richer.
I would recommend the accomodation to this hotel, the distance betwwen the nearest cities (xanthi-komotini) is less than half an hour

Our family with a 2 years old child had an incredible stay at Fanari Hotel.
We are traveling a lot for many years, but we have never had a comparable experience in a hotel. The owner, Nassos, is the most friendly and helpful host we have ever come across: well-behaved, efficient, well planned, always there, but not intrusive. A true sample of excellent hospitality!
The hotel is convenient situated half distance to the beach and city center - 5 minutes walking. The beach is beautiful, with clean waters and fine sand. There are 2 grocery shops near hotel with a good variety of local products.
The hotel is tasteful renovated, it has a large private parking.
Dinner was excellent, way better than anything in town, very reasonable priced -great value for money.
The rooms are modern, fully equipped and very clean, the staff follow Nassos lead, everyone is very attentive and very nice. We highly enjoyed the view of the mountains from our balcony.
It is our second time at Hotel Fanari and we are convinced that we are coming back over and over again. We really appreciate the owner and staff professionalism.
We could not recommend this hotel highly enough.

we visited fanari during our visit to Greece (Aug 7-8). it was a hotel found by chance but glad we did. FANARI is a quiet place which has its own beaches and a port and kind of feels isolated but still is a great place to go if you are looking for a nice small village where you can relax. and FANARI HOTEL is the place to go there. its right by the beach and the port and you can get to the miles long beaches in a couple of minutes with a car.
the staff is absolutely amazing. Mr. TSOUKAS has been very attentive since the day of booking till the day we checked out.
the breakfast is ok not many hot dishes but still a decent breakfast choice.
rooms looking at the sea have a nice view.
all in all a good hotel and a good time spent.

We visited 6 hotels on a tour of northern Greece and this was by far the best, with all the facilities being up to the standard you would wish for. Nice location with easy access to beach, port and countryside.

A cosy hotel with very helpful and smiling staff. It is placed about 2 km. to both the beach and the marina . So if you have your own car anywhere is at reach in 2 minutes. We stayed as a family with small children ( actually 4 families). Rooms are restored recently and pretty nice and clean they clean up the rooms everyday . I would advice you to get at least a 3 person room if you have even a little baby cause the double room is really small. The only down point was the air condition which was not able to win over the hot nights. Breakfast was reach enough well if you have little kids or babies you should bring some extra items with you. The hotel also has a good restaurant which is not expensive and you can find some good menus there. Free wifi was absolutely welcomed by our tablet players. We absolutely will be back to this hotel and the Fanari beach.

We stayed here two nights with a group of birdwatchers and the staff made our visit very comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated and feel very modern. The bathrooms in the rooms has great shower with plenty of hot water and thick towels. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the food was very tasty. I would stay here again if we were in the area.

This hotel is the best one in Fanari. I know it for many years. The owner, Nasos, is an excellent example if high-motivated expert in tourism, speaking fluent English and always ready to help. Fanari hotel is your choice N.1 in this unique natural paradise. I have my own property next door to the hotel and help all my friends to reserve rooms. And they all are happy to come back again and again.

Great place, wonderful rooms and very caring hosts. There is a super market right across the street and it's 5 minutes walk from the village center. It's obvious that the hotel was recently renovated. Fanari is still not well known, but pretty nice. Nice fish taverns and great beaches. A great place to relax. Also, it is in the middle of Komotini and Xanthi in case you want to drive there.
