last night people next to my room with music loud at 3 am today in the morning a guy with a blower next to my window during 1 hour the same spot just crazy, too much I will never come back to this place
Mediteran is my go to in Escondido, five years running. CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN. Granite and marble bathrooms and super comfortable beds. Great owners, thoughtful and caring. Close to Starbucks and famous Peterson’s Donuts. Super easy access to I-15 and downtown Escondido.
Stayed here for one night to visit San Diego Safari Park. Easy to find motel. Breakfast was very good and the bed was really comfortable.Very friendly and welcoming staff. Really cheaply priced compared to most and great value for money.
I was in town for a wedding and would be arriving a little bit early, which they said was fine. When we got there, the manager had to call and check about 5 different rooms before he could give me one. At no time would the desk manager look me in the eye, he did not say hello, I just stood there and waited for him to just say something. He secures a room, puts a card on the counter and then doesn't say anything else. I said, "Am I finished?" "Yes." Okay then. Parking near our room was scarce as it appeared they have "residents" that stay there. And when we arrived after the wedding, had to park even farther away from the room. The room itself was great, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. In the morning, going back to the office to get breakfast, the counter was messy, there was no more sugar or cream, about an inch of milk in the gallon the cooler, and guess who is sitting at the front desk. At this point, I am so uncomfortable that I don't even want to ask for another thing from him. So I opted to cancel for that evening's stay and their policy of no refund was unforgiving. The desk manager said, "You pay. There will be no discount." When i contacted Travelocity to see if they might compensate me for the loss, they apparently called him and he called the room while i was on hold with Travelocity and starting yelling at us that we lied about him. I was out the money, and that's fine, I did agree to their terms. But customer service in a hospitality business is key, and this guy was unprofessional and rude in every sense.…
