Everything at the Inn is done so thoughtfully and beautifully. It feels like you just stepped into another world (the Shire comes to mind) when you arrive, and all your senses are soothed and renewed.

If you are in need of a peaceful oasis to restore your soul & body, you need to treat yourself to a stay at the Inn at Moonlight Beach. The inn owner's (& designer) extraordinary attention to the teenist of details shows in the spacious and peaceful rooms, eco-friendly elegant furnishing, private terrace, library of wellness books, 10 biodynamic gardens, in room aromatherapy, and dried flower and herb bath & healthy snack (sourced from the onsite garden!). The staff are pleasant, helpful & caring while staying out of sight- so that you don't feel like you're staying in a hotel, but having a retreat with yourself. It's obvious this is a labor of love for the owner and staff. I feel so cared for! The inn is about a 10-15 minute to the beach and restaurants, but inn is so pleasant, you may not want to leave your room, terrace or the beautiful gardens!

Super cool place run by very nice people, would come back again! Very close to downtown Encinitas and the restaurants are within walking distance. They are dealing with the COVID event in a very responsible way.

My husband and I chose the Inn at Moonlight Beach for our anniversary trip this year, and it was FABULOUS! The inn was exceptionally clean, and our room was perfect. We splurged for the ocean suite and were not disappointed - the private balcony was perfect for breakfast in the morning, and to get some sun in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable and the towels were plush. While the staff were almost never seen due to COVID-19, they were always accessible via text message and quick to respond to our needs. The inn is accessible to everything you will want during a trip to Encinitas. Walk to the beach and the 101, take the freeway to other areas like Del Mar and Carlsbad... you can't go wrong. The team has truly created a perfect getaway and we hope to return in the future. Thank you for everything!

We (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at the Inn's Full Moon 1-BR suite. It was perfect as it has 2 pull-out sofa beds for the kids to sleep on and the adults can chill in the BR. The property is not huge, but it is amazing what the innkeepers were able to do with the space, the landscaping and the cute little places where you can sit, whether it be by the fire pit, water pond or up in the canopy , makes you feel like you're in a little paradise away from it all. Also, it's a great opportunity for the kids to learn about biodynamic farming as the inn is surrounded by plants. The welcoming tea & organic snacks plus tea soak were nice personal touches, and the sheets (very high thread count), ohhhh so comfortable. Very close to Moonlight Beach and downtown Encinitas--7-10 min walk. Just wished that the parking is a bit easier as due to property being small, parking space quite tight. There's a daily Destination Fee which covers breakfast. The breakfast is very healthy, but not sure if it's bc of COVID, they're cold (yogurt, fruit, bars, etc..), not hot. However, all in all, a wonderful experience, will return!
