Arrived with tired family with three kids in tow. We needed refreshing and the pool was the right answer. The Host was amazing providing insight and quality customer service. Rooms are comfortable! We had the 2 Queen with sofa bed cabin - It was excellent for a family of 5. Near by stream to enjoy refreshing splashing to cool off... More

We booked the tent/cabin for one night only so as to be close to the entrance of Yosemite. We were a little worried by some other reviews but decided to risk it. We are used to camping so got what we expected. It is camping in a ready made canvas timber frame building. Having said that it was clean and... More

Simple canvas tent with a bed adequate, fridge in room. NO LOCK ON DOOR. cannot latch from inside. Toilets ok showers needs updating and cleaning , facilities about 5 min away. But close to park so it is what it is, and you do not have a lot of choice for the price.

When you find out that all the camping sites in Yosemite NP are booked out during the time you want to visit (like we did), this is the closest campground, just a short drive down Hwy 140 towards El Portal. We booked the last available campsite and the owner was almost apologizing that it was not anything special, but hey,... More

Don't expect luxury. A camp tent with a bed is everything you need for a sleeping location when you will visit Yosemite. Showers are sober but for 1 or 2 nights, you will survive. If you want a bed to sleep, on a location near the entrance of Yosemite and you don't want to spend to much money, perfect spot.

It was the perfect overnight stay for a weekend in Yosemite. We had the cottage / rock-cabin for $ 85 (March). Clean, very basic, essentially a free standing motel room with two queen beds, bathroom and a tiny kitchenette, TV. It had a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, stove, oven, a few plates and cups, some old pots. Enough to... More

We got here around 7pm and it was purely an overnight stay. We left first thing in the morning. It was basic but it was all we needed as we were in an escape camper van. We just needed toilets. The water was off at the washing up station and showers as it was winter but that didn't bother us.... More

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking a site at this place. I definitely would not have stayed here had I known of the filthy bathrooms lacking basic soap & paper towels & the dripping shower pressure of either freezing cold or scalding hot water. Previous reviews are spot-on: Keith & Gordon told us "the plumber can't... More

No laundry facility. Dusty nothing but dirt camp ground ! Bathrooms/showers Very unclean and old. The day we were there they had no hot water. We have been on the road across America for a month now. Absolutely the worst camp ground we have camped.

I have camped across the country and have never experienced such awful conditions. Especially for the price. I understand Yosemite was six miles down the road but this place was more than the Grand Canyon. $42 as opposed to $36 for inside the park at the Grand Canyon.
