We stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great to visit Yosemite. We checked in about 6 pm and that was a little slow. The rooms are basic, but it did have a mini fridge. There is a take out and a sit down restaurant -we just got dinner one night on the casual/take out side-it was just ok,but convenient... More

Cedar Lodge is dated, but you can't beat the location. You are 10 minutes from the Yosemite Valley entrance and the price is in line with other limited hotels in the area. We had a huge room with two doubles and a TV in a seperate bedroom and a murphy bed and fold out couch in the living / dining... More

I recently stayed 2 nights at Cedar Lodge with my wife and kids aged 10 to 13. We arrived at 1230pm and were told it was too early to check in so we headed into Yosemite. Later that day we checked in with no hassles. The lodge had plenty of parking for all guests. The property is showing its age... More

Booked online because we didn't find anything in Yosemite Valley (I guess that's what brings most people there). You're better off driving another 20 miles to a decent motel. The price for one night was outrageous (for us about $190), especially since NOTHING is included. No breakfast, no WiFi. WiFi with a minuscule and completely inadequate speed of about 1Mbit/s... Great spot easy access to Yosemite park gates, Yosemite is mind blowing. Cedar lodge is old fashioned but quirky you feel like you've gone back in time, it's a motel, really well manicured and clean, beds good water hot, to poor no internet there is zero to do or visit unless your going into Yosemite itself, the cedar lodge restaurant... Last minute decision to visit Yosemite NP in summer was not a good idea. Can't find anything in the park so we picked this one. We were a 3 persons family so needed a two beds room type, but it turned out to be a suite. What a surprise! It even had a small kitchen, but we did not use... More

From check-in to check-out, there was not a moment where the hotel made us feel like welcomed guests. Nothing is included. No amentities. Rude manager. From threadbare towels (you get one) to a absurd charge of $1.61 for your morning coffee in the lobby, everything is a rip-off. Get this: No cell servcie AND wi-fi is additional. If you want... Cedar lodge is about 15 minutes from Yosemite's entrance. The rooms are dated but clean and comfy. The bar serves good food and drink and the barman Michael is really lovely! Make sure you cross the road and head down the the merced river, just gorhrous to tske a drink down to and chill out! Can't fault it for the... More

It's a little weird to write a review about a place like this because, let's face it, the hotel is not the destination. When you plan a trip to Yosemite, it is not to enjoy your time at the lodge. Cedar Lodge performed wonderfully in providing a roof over our heads and a place that served food and beer, which... More
