Stayed here for 3 nights in September for its proximity to Yosemite. The room: The room was comfortable and large, with a separate seating area and a fridge. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was in need of some TLC with peeling walls and ceiling and towels appeared a little grubby. You have to pay $9.99 for 24 hours of... More

Stayed here two nights ago for one night. Options limited in this area. This is an older but well kept clean motel. Stayed in room 527, large and quiet. Typical bar food for dinner nothing great but not bad either. No cell phone reception had to drive up the road to get signal. Check in quick no problems.

The room smelled like urine, but room was clean. Towels were kind of rough feeling, not soft like you would normally expect. But otherwise a very pleasant stay. There aren't to many places to stay in this area, so you are over a barrel a little bit.

Air con, fridge, balcony and breakfast supplied. Dinner options limited as they said the season was closed. Only option on site was a bit of a greasy spoon, however they did recommend a hotel restaurant down the road which was excellent. No free wifi, and hotel strongly encouraged us not to try and use the pay-for-it option so didn't bother.... More

The hotel is older but it's well cared for and clean. the beds are comfy. It is in the middle of nowhere, 15-20 min outside the Yosemite gate. There is no cell coverage here and they do charge for wifi if you must stay in touch. It's in a pretty area and the grounds are safe and well kept. We... More

I had booked one night and paid for a room with a hot tub - the hot tub did not work. I called front desk- they did not care. The next morning at check out I complained about it again - they did not do anything. The wait at the restaurant was extremely long, and likewise, no apologies, nothing. And... More

The accommodation was typical national parks high priced because they can - with OK rooms the food is a separate business i acknowledge, but the whole site is losing out to appalling food options and service I would suggest that this sorted pronto i could not recommend anyone staying there unless they are willing to travel to eat

Lodging choices around Yosemite are few and far between. This is one of the closest hotels to the park entrance - about 10 miles to the entrance and another 8 to Yosemite Valley. This is a large sprawling hotel with good size rooms that are just this side of outdated. Wifi is limited and costly - $10 per day for... More

The Cedar Lodge is definitely dated. We had a nice view of the mountain side but it is right on the road so you do hear the traffic. The AC didn't seem to work too well so it was a bit hot in the room but overall it wasn't a bad place to stay and it's convenient.

Indifferent check in, poor shower but rooms are a good size. Wifi is $10 per device per night. Travel 6 miles up the road though and you will get a telephone signal and access to the internet if your phone and plan allows you to access it. There is an onsite restaurant that serves a decent buffet breakfast at $11.50... More
