Although a little dated, this is a great location if you are staying at Yosemite. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are large. There was a microwave fridge and hot plate in our room. There is a restaurant and a pizza parlour on site. The...More
There isn't much choice of places to stay near Yosemite, so we stayed here. The rooms were of a good size and comfortable. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river which was nice and cool in the evenings. There are two restaurants,...More
Just an overnight stay but had a great river view room and by that I mean the raging river runs about 3 metres away from the balcony set up with a small table and chairs, just made for balmy summer nights and a cold beer...More
We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel has a couple of large pools, the bedrooms are outdated, but we spent most of our time outside at Yosemite national park. Our room had a lot of flies in it and was very warm at night....More
The room had a great view of the river in full flow and the spa with a river view was good, however the pools were opened late and we wanted a swim before we left. The room and bathroom were of good size and well...More

Hi there. We took the YARTS bus from Mariposa to the park at 6:15 am and there was absolutely no wait to get into the park. I don't think there was a separate bus lane, just good timing! The buses are wonderful! Very comfortable! Unfortunately, while we were at the park, the town of Mariposa was evacuated due to wildfire and the buses stopped running there. That is how we ended up at the Yosemite View Lodge...with no power! Such an adventure! Be prepared!! On the bus ride back to the lodge, we did sit in a ton of traffic. So, I think if you time it right...get there early in the morning and leave at 3 or 4, you should be fine either driving your own vehicle or taking the bus! Have a wonderful trip!
