This hotel is a good option if you don't mind 1980's style rooms and lumpy pillows. Being on the river is nice and most of the rooms have balconies. Plus, it's as close to Yosemite as you can get without staying in the park. Nonetheless, I would rather plan ahead and book a hotel inside the park but the reservations...

Quite a strange place. You can tell it would have been a luxurious complex in it's day. The rooms are big and we had a giant jacuzzi bath with double showers (although the plug wouldn't work so we couldn't enjoy it.) The rooms are pretty run down overall. However the upside is this is a great location to explore Yosemite....

Go here every year. Love being on the river. Booked back in January wanting a particular room in a particular building. Described it succinctly as the most northern building on the river. The most northern Room on the 3rd floor. I now have put the name of the building and the room number of n my contact file. When we...

The only strong point about this lodge is its proximity to Yosemite and the Merced River. Be sure to get a riverfront room, best on 3rd floor. The rooms need upgrading, the beds are not motion sensitive, e.g. If your bed partner moves, the whole bed moves. Bed linens and towels are very low budget. The jacuzzi tub was a...

Rooms are not too bad although a bit expensive but make sure you bring all you need food etc because the prices in their store are horrendous. Captive audience ? Good position and a niosy river nearby but that just adds to it

This was a great location for a family getaway. We had 3 rooms near each other overlooking the gushing river. Wonderful views. One was pet friendly. The staff was very accommodating to our pet. The location was great, just a couple of miles from the park entrance and maybe 20 minutes to the valley floor. We made good use of...

There is not a lot of choice in this area and I think the hotel knows it. The rooms are very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. The food is really expensive and no were else to buy. The pizza place at the hotel wasn't to bad price wise and they were very tasty. The location is stunning and...

The room we stayed at was massive, we had 7 people in the 4 person room near the river and had plenty of extra room! We made pasta and quesidillas in the kitchenette and the river was great white noise everynight. We were dissapointed about the cost of 10 dollars for wifi for only 24 hours but were in the...

We booked one night here because it is close to Yosemite Park entrance, thinking if we liked it we might stay longer. We left next morning. Beds not that comfortable, pillows needed replacing, towels were thin and we had to pay $10 extra for wifi. It is adequate for an overnight but it's a huge, generic place and utterly devoid of...
