We stayed at Maple building of Yosemite view lodge and the location of this hotel is very convenient as it is close to the park. Also inside the lodge, we could get some food as well as few grocery items. The room is equipped with a kitchenette and we had a comfortable stay. The only complaint that I have is...

We stayed at this motel with our pet for a couple of days. The pet fee was reasonable at $10 a day. We stayed in the Dogwood building, first floor with a river view. The motel is definitely worn as we expected. Ugly bedspreads but nice black and white prints of Yosemite. The carpet was scary. It probably get's a...

Very close to Yosemite, with convenient access on the YARTS bus. We chose to stay here because we didn't want to bet on tire chains in a rental car, but as it turned out there were no chain restrictions during our visit. We were happy with the place anyway: decent cooking equipment in our kitchenette, spa tub in the room,...

It's the closest lodge to the park. They say 5 mins away, but this is only to the park entrance. The centre of the park where there are eating places and the visitor centre is about 30-40 mins from the hotel. Learnt this the hard way after being stuck in one way traffic for over an hour into the park,...

Chose this hotel as it was the closest hotel outside national park - around 10 km to the entrance . Not cheap though, but not as expensive hotels inside the park. Room stated as facing river and mountain, but we found out that our terrace was facing yard. Hotel had many wings and all were facing back of the hotel....

Our one criticism comes right at the beginning. We booked three nights stay in a room with a kingsize bed. We arrived after an 8 hour journey to be given the keys to a room with a standard double. I called the front desk to query this and they were quick to apologise and upgrade us (free of charge) to...

It is the closest lodge to Yosemite National Park. We had a room with a view of the Merced river. There were two queen beds and a kitchenette (4 burner stove top, mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot). They provide wine glasses, regular glasses, mugs, plates, utensils, and bowls. The bathroom had a huge spa tub with two shower heads on...

arrived there in a good mood - no "welcome" or anything for starters! personell at the reception was not friendly nor helpful at all! room is ok - more or less, dirty in the bathroom where the products are and as it was very dark in the room, you don't see the dirt (which i assume is there if it's...

We just spent the weekend at the Yosemite View Lodge and visited Yosemite National Park for the first time. The location was perfect. It was just outside the park and will be the closest place you can find besides staying inside the park. We normally camp but since it's December and we are traveling with a 2 year old we...

The Yosemite View Lodge rests on the Merced River. When the river is roaring in the spring it is a wonderful sound. When you are in a river view room, the sitting on the patio and watching the water flow by is so calming and peaceful. The Lodge is great value for the area, and by the way the off...
