Easy check in and check out. Has a kitchenette(stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, basic coffeemaker, cutlery, pots, pans, dinnerware). No resort fees and good housekeeping. Close proximity to the park entrance.

During our visit, the storm damaged the route from highway 120. It made highway 140 the only route open. So we booked Yosemite view lodge which was the closest hotel to the west entrance. The location is so good. We arrived at around 4 pm. After check in, we drove to the park and enjoyed the majestic tunnel view sunset....

we stayed here for 4 days and was the most amazing experience ever had. We had the river view, and we could not ask for MORE....We also had a kitchen that had all the things we needed to cook stuff. Would stay here again. Front desk was very nice and helpful and also the people who clean the rooms are...

Yosemite View Lodge is the best place stay if you plan to visit Yosemite National Park but don't plan to stay inside the park boundaries. The hotel is not brand new but is newer than anything available inside the park. It is located on Highway 140, pretty much the only road open all year to get into Yosemite National Park....

ACCOMODATIONS: We stayed in a Riverview room in the Sequoia building. The rooms had just been renovated and are very nice. The sound of the Rushing River is very relaxing. The beds are comfortable. There's a large Jacuzzi tub and most rooms. TIP: ask for one of the newly renovated rooms. LOCATION: The hotel is located in El Portal, CA....

Serious, are you really going to stay at this hotel for a long time when you have a beautiful National Park minutes away from the doorstop? Yes, the rooms are outdated, mattress not so comfortable and the carpet a tad worn but we didn't plan on staying there long since we wanted to hike / bike Yosemite. We had a...

Yes, the rooms are older in style but quite large, clean and ours had a fridge, stovetop, and microwave. The view from our deck was amazing. I probably would not stay in a non-river facing room, seriously pay the extra here or you will be sorry. The difference will be looking at a road or an awesome river. We ate breakfast and...

Staff was generally not excited about doing their job. When I was directed to my room the staff said "good luck finding parking" rather than offering any helpful tips to deal with the busy parking lot. Then I got to my room and it was missing a bed (I booked a two-bed room) and when I want back to the...

We stayed here mid-week last week in a ground floor room that had a large patio with a table and four chairs to sit out and enjoy the river view and sounds. The room decor was dated but was clean. There was a small microwave, coffee pot (bring coffee and small cone shape filters if you want more than two...

If you are going to Yosemite and don't want to stay in the park, this place is for you. It was only about 15 minute drive to the entrance from here. It's also a beautiful drive so you don't really notice it. The rooms are very large and have lots of amenities. Kitchen, coffee, utensils (no bottle openers though, doh!)...
