Walked in to make reservations on June 4,'17 @ 4pm and the kid behind the desk didn't have an answer for any of my questions. How much is it, what is the kilowatts rate for electric. But he expected me to make my reservation. I asked him to call someone who could answer my questions, he didn't have anyone to call as the manager is on vacation. I asked " your expecting me to reserve a spot with no COST of how much it would be. He looked at me like " why not?". I left and will not return. How can a Sunland property be run like that, I asked him? It was a little trashy but depends on what site your on. I'd rather go to Sweetwater , San Diego s county park than here. Plus it will be cheaper. They were expensive for being camped so close, you'd hear your neighbor pass gas.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to post your review. We're sorry you had a bad experience with our staff member; this surprises us as we receive many positive reviews about his guest service and friendliness. It sounds like you threw him with the kilowatt cost question as that is not a typical question asked of our staff. Those rates are set by the service provider SDG&E; we have no control over them, and the amount you will be charged is dependent on your usage as all our extended stay RV sites are sub-metered. We certainly have brought this concern up with our staff and have shown them how they can better answer the cost per KW question if it we're to arise again. If your stay at Sweetwater does not work out for you, I would be happy to assist you with a reservation at one of our RV Parks. We would appreciate the opportunity. Thank you again and enjoy your travels. Jim, General Manager

A nice park with many full time residents. Near a very busy highway - if you are a light sleeper you will not be happy here. The staff is very good but the space we stayed in was very tiny. Pricey for what you get. Location is adequately close to the resorts in San Diego. Clean.

The RV Park bills itself as a resort, but while it has several amenities I would not classify it as a tru RV resort. It seems to mostly have long term residents. The sites are very close together with few pull thrus or sites that can accomodate large motorhomes. The Passport America rate makes it an attractive place to stay near San Diego.

Tiffany and the entire staff will make your RV visit here safe, fun and looking forward to coming back again and again. The pool and spa is always fresh and clean, and the workout room is very well maintained. Anything you might need is all within walking distance from the resort. Excellent experience all around. (Thank you, Tiffany) :)
