Friendly staff, safe community, close to everything you may need. I’m from the Philippines and visited my family who lived in the resort. They threw out a party when I was there for the July 4th weekend. Thank you!
First of all person doing scheduling put in worst spot possible in the middle of two RV that were there for 5 years they left me No room to park!! So they complained that I was parking to close to them" I complained to front office She refused to let me move she held a opening for someone else for two days so on my third day I was forced to leave because no peace at all!! That really was a big waste of my time during 4th July
This is the worst managed RV park that I have EVER stayed at. I seriously hope the owner, Sunland RV, does a thorough reflection of this property. We stayed here for 1 month this summer. The rate was $1000/month plus electric and a $250 security deposit. The first week we stayed here my credit card was charged $3000. We had to call and go in to the office repeatedly to ask for a refund. After another week of complaining, we were refunded $1000 of the $2000 we were owed, and told that the remaining $1000 would be held on to and refunded after we departed at the end of the month. This was completely unacceptable because we had already paid a security deposit! After another week of trying to get that remaining money back, we were refunded most of it back, minus $60 for a week of electric. Keep in mind, we were out of town that first week and not using A/C or water heater, and our electric is usually around $100/month. The final 3 weeks we stayed here, running A/C and water heater the entire time our electric was $113. Unfortunately we were never allowed to see the meter readings, so we cannot be sure who's electric bill we were paying that first week but it is extremely suspect. They day we left, we were told the $250 security deposit would be refunded in a couple days, minus the $113 for electric. After 5 days we called again. Then again after a week, 10 days, etc. At the two week mark were pretty upset. The ladies that work the front desk apparently don't have the ability to give refunds, only the manager Jim. We were never able to talk to Jim the manager over that month of being overcharged and being refused refunds, until the very end when we lost our temper. He did finally call us to refund the security deposit, but was pretty sarcastic about the whole situation. Needless to say, we will never stay at a Sunland RV property again, and wouldn't recommend Circle RV even if it were free.…
This park is predominantly permanent residents and they’ll pack you in like a can of sardines. We felt the RV sites were a little close for comfort once your coach is set and your vehicle is parked as well as the many vehicles from neighboring sites. Lots of highway traffic noise too. The laundry room was spacious with newer front loader washing machines and dryers but expensive at $ 3.75 a pop for washing and drying. The landscaping was well groomed and the grounds appeared very clean. We never did find the dog park they claim to accommodate our furry friends; only a long dirt belt which looked to be under construction that maybe was once a pet area. But that said, they did have doggie bags available along with small waste receptacles. It would have been a much more pleasant stay if the adjoining tenants would pick up after their pets as well so that you don’t constantly smell the feces odor when you’re outside your coach. The only downfall of our stay was a group of campers that arrived on Friday decided to sate their livers on Saturday at the pool during the day and by late evening were extremely disruptive and belligerent. While security showed up on a couple of occasions it didn’t seem to faze the intoxicated adults as they proceeded to resume their party in the street just soon after the individual left. We will not return to this resort or recommend as apparently security and/or management cannot control their tenants to adhere to the resort rules and regulations in which they require your signature upon arrival. Other than that fiasco the resort was actually quite prior to their arrival.…
Another tight-fitting California parking lot right next to the freeway. It was noisy almost twenty-four hours a day you can hear the highway traffic running by. Campground itself was quiet. I guess most of folks are local workers. Management of the site was real helpful and friendly. The first sight they assigned us was too awkward to get in with my camper so they reassigned us to a pullthrough. Mike the maintenance guy here was real nice and came by couple of times to see if we were doing ok. Paid $500 for the week.
NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLYL! The sites are very close together with few pull thru’s. Full time residents park in the street making it difficult to park in your site. Asked office for help in getting to site, they were no help. Had to ask full timers to move vehicles That I may get in my site. Fire Marshall should inspect this place. If you have a big rig, STAY away. We even had trouble leaving, Road noise is only a minor problem. Dog run, don’t do it. No place to walk doggies! Trip Advisor rates this place excellent. If you are full timer in a small rig, no dog and do not are who block the drive ways then this is for you. Excellent my foot!!
Stayed for a few months. I loved it. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. The staff is so sweet and respectful. Prices were great. Other guest were very nice and respectful. I look forward to staying again in the future.
Walked in to make reservations on June 4,'17 @ 4pm and the kid behind the desk didn't have an answer for any of my questions. How much is it, what is the kilowatts rate for electric. But he expected me to make my reservation. I asked him to call someone who could answer my questions, he didn't have anyone to call as the manager is on vacation. I asked " your expecting me to reserve a spot with no COST of how much it would be. He looked at me like " why not?". I left and will not return. How can a Sunland property be run like that, I asked him? It was a little trashy but depends on what site your on. I'd rather go to Sweetwater , San Diego s county park than here. Plus it will be cheaper. They were expensive for being camped so close, you'd hear your neighbor pass gas.
A nice park with many full time residents. Near a very busy highway - if you are a light sleeper you will not be happy here. The staff is very good but the space we stayed in was very tiny. Pricey for what you get. Location is adequately close to the resorts in San Diego. Clean.
The RV Park bills itself as a resort, but while it has several amenities I would not classify it as a tru RV resort. It seems to mostly have long term residents. The sites are very close together with few pull thrus or sites that can accomodate large motorhomes. The Passport America rate makes it an attractive place to stay near San Diego.
