Detailed Reviews
Best Hotel!!
The hotel is just amazing and I couldn't thank Peter & Richard enough for having me at their hotel.
The location is amazing in Palo Alto and you're close enough to San Francisco City is to drive back & forth.
The service here is top notch! The front desk was outstanding, they are very hospitable.
The Front office team headed by David, Jackie & Jessie are warm and friendly and ensure that you feel safe and at home during your stay.
The rooms are very clean and house keeping team very professional.
The rooms are neatly appointed and very spacious with windows for the warm and natural California sun to shin in!
Chef Morelli is an extremely talented & creative person who creates delicious food
that leave the guests with wanting more!
It was undeniably a comfortable and unforgettable experience. I feel safe, I feel that I am well taken care of and I feel I am part of their family.
I want to thank once again Peter & Richard, the support staff, the housekeeping, the security and the amazing front desk personnels for all the hard work that you did for me and the other guests.

Our family recently stayed overnight at Four Seasons Palo Alto a few days after it re opened. We had a wonderful visit and their protocol for cleaning and maintaining a safe environment, yet still delivering on their well-known standard of service was top notch. Our children enjoyed the reserved times we had at the pool and my wife and I enjoyed interacting with all members of the FS team. Highly recommend to all locals looking for a quick, easy and safe getaway.

+1
This is our second staycation at the Four Seasons Hotel in Silicon Valley. The check in was welcoming and quick. The lobby and hallways smelled very fragrant, and our hotel room also has that pleasant smelling aroma. Our room has the view of the tree lined courtyard. The flat screen tv size is at least 50” and there is a small flat scree tv in the bathroom. Our King size bed, pillows and comforter soft and very comfortable. I requested for a microwave and a fridge which were promptly delivered.
We ordered dinner which arrived early. The hamburger was the best we’ve eaten in all the nice hotels that we’ve stayed in. I told my wife that the hamburger at this hotel rivaled the hamburger I ate at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite many years ago. It was that good that I still remember it to this day. The pasta dish was quite good but portion was small. However, the cheesecake did not meet my expectations. It was not creamy enough, in my opinion.
We spent a couple of hours lounging by the pool the next day. The 2 pool attendants were fantastic. They made sure we felt welcome. Although we did not swim in the pool, the heated water felt comfortable when I dipped my foot in the water. We went shopping in the hotels gift shop and the 2 ladies in the store were very attentive and welcoming.
On our second night we ordered a turkey sandwich and we had to order the thick and delicious hamburger again which met our expectations. The fudge brownie cake was tasty but it was a little dry. We requested ‘no salt’ french fries but it was salty. However, this was quickly rectified and the replacement french fries were quickly delivered to our room.
They have complimentary coffee, tea and mini muffins in the morning. Before we checked out we ordered buttermilk pancakes in a take out box. The order arrived promptly. It was hot, fluffy and delicious. The check out process was as quick as the check in. Our weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel was delightful. All of the hotel employees that we encountered provided top notch service and we hope to come back again someday soon.

We're thrilled to hear that you had a delightful stay and that our team provided you with top-notch service throughout your visit. It's wonderful to know that you enjoyed the welcoming check-in, the pleasant ambiance in the lobby and hallways, and the aromatic room. This hotel is not a four seasons. It is alright and everything as long as you are expecting a 3-star hotel. The rooms are okay but pretty rustic for a four seasons, the gym is tiny, and the room service is the worst thing you’ll ever experience. We called to the front desk and room service and nobody answered. We asked for a towel and no-one brought it. They say room service ends at 9:30 which is ridiculous, and because we ordered after 9:30 they brought us some ridiculous little bites, which were packaged, even though we asked if the bites were packaged and they said they were not. Moreover, the hotel is completely unattended. Only stay here if it’s as cheap as the 3-star hotels in town. If you’re looking for the best luxury stay at the Rosewood or Nobu hotel. The only good thing was the valet staff. They were extremely kind and helpful.

As someone who has had a fair share of experiences at domestic Four Seasons properties like Boston, Seattle, and SF, I was throughly impressed with my first time at FS Silicon Valley!
Front desk check-in was flawless, as was communication from staff on the phone and via the FS app chat. I also was offered a complimentary upgrade to a high-floor mountain view room since occupancy was rather low. I was pleased with how comfortable the room was and it was obvious housekeeping does a stellar job (one of the reasons why I like staying at FS properties).
Yes, FS Silicon Valley does have a more suburban/“Peninsula” vibe than other Four Seasons, but at the end of the day, it’s smack dab in the middle of Silicon Valley. That basically adds to the experience. All in all, just a very enjoyable stay. I’m looking forward to my next visit! Thanks Four Seasons!
Two minor quibbles: The bed linens could be a bit more “scented” and I think digital thermostats in the rooms would be better than the current ones.

We were celebrating me and my daughter's birthday and decided to treat ourselves to a mini girl trip overnight stay possibly adding another night. After I made the reservation which was some days before arrival I stated in the notes that it was a birthday celebration. I then called and asked if a little something, i.e a card or complimentary snack with a note or something could be placed in the room, when I later asked they said it was done. However when we checked in, nothing was there. I was surprised that some of the furniture was scratched and chipped, kind of dated and wooden . The soaking tub is a nice large size, with a separate shower, and was surprised the shower head was basic and had little to no water pressure. The TV also basic; I've checked in to lower rated hotels that welcomes you on the screen. I was surprised The Four Seasons didn't have that feature. Also the beds were surprisingly hard. The pillows were amazing like fluffy clouds, we expected the bed to follow suit but it was hard so we had a bad nights sleep. My daughter said it seems like a Courtyard Marriott with a bigger bathroom, and sorry to say the Marriott has softer beds. We continued our trip at the Palace hotel, instead of inquiring for an extended stay, so either it's over rated or they deliberately assigned us a room that has yet to be updated.

Hi Dee_71, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely apologize for the experience you and your daughter had during your stay with us. It's disappointing to hear that we fell short of expectations, especially on such a special occasion. We'll make sure your feedback is forwarded to our maintenance and guest services teams for immediate review. We genuinely appreciate your feedback and would like to make it right. We went to the Restaurant to celebrate Grand Daughter's Performance at the School Play of Lion King. Told the Matre D that this is special occasion and they agreed to gring special Celebratory Dessert for her with Candle. Food was excellent. We had the Steak, Egg plant Parmisan and children food. We had a corner table specailly suited for privacy and our celebration. Wine was very good. We had Cabernet for the Steak and Pinot Grigio for the Parmesan. The Celebration Dessert was made real special, with small cakes. To top it off, the staff gave special attention as we were a group of Regulars there.

I would like to recognize your front desk representative, Emily Yamamoto, who made our stay wonderful. Emily ensured we were properly taken care of and made our check-in, stay, and check-out process smooth and easy. We loved the attention to detail from all the staff from housekeeping to in room dining. In addition, we are huge fans of Diptyque products so it was nice to have them in the restroom as amenities. Gold standard! I will write a review with Amex Fine Hotels as well to recognize the great hotel and customer service we received. Happy New Year!

After an exhausting journey, my expectations for a restful stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto were high, given the brand's prestigious reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was far from the luxurious standards I anticipated.
Upon our late arrival at 9 PM, we were met with a series of disappointments. The initial room provided to us was so subpar that we seriously considered finding alternate accommodation despite our exhaustion. The room's unpleasantness was only the beginning. To our dismay, the shower was inoperable, forcing us to request another room.
The second room, although functional, had unclean sheets. Shockingly, our request for clean bedding was denied, a basic expectation in any hotel, let alone one of this supposed caliber. Given another room option, we found it to be even more unacceptable than the first two. By then, it was midnight, and out of sheer fatigue, we resigned ourselves to stay.
The final room was a nightmare. It was dusty, the air conditioning unit was unbearably noisy, and the poor air quality made it difficult to breathe, let alone sleep. This was unquestionably the worst night I have ever spent in any hotel.
In summary, this hotel is an embarrassment to the Four Seasons brand. The rooms were deplorable, the service was abysmal, and the overall experience was a far cry from what one would expect from such a renowned chain. I deeply regret not leaving immediately upon encountering these issues. I can confidently say I would not choose to stay at this establishment again, even if offered free of charge. It's a disservice to the brand and a disheartening experience for any guest.

This is a small Four Seasons hotel located in an office park complex next to the freeway. I was made aware prior to staying that some facilities were unavailable due to renovations, however these renovations did not affect my stay negatively.
I had a clean and comfortable room on the top floor with a nice view toward downtown and the mountains, of course the Four Seasons bed is reason enough to stay here. The bathroom door is a barn-style sliding door that doesn't close all the way, I traveled alone so it didn't bother me but it might be an issue for others, so something to note.
I had three meals at the hotel, the brunch was hands down the best of them. Very expansive menu, everything delicious and beautifully plated, and the service was excellent. I also ordered room service one morning and the food came hot and perfectly cooked. Lastly I had a reservation for their high tea in the lobby, due to the rainy weather it was quite crowded so despite having a reservation, I had to wait a long time to get a table. When I was finally served, it felt a bit like a hassle and I did not find the servers friendly. The tea sandwiches were served on stale toast, the items on the tea tray had clearly been sitting out all day and were not fresh. The custom tea blends however were delicious and it was fun to make your own tea bag. All in all, I think the service could use some work and finesse, but the idea is there.
It is about 20 minutes walking to downtown Palo Alto and Stanford University campus, most people would probably prefer to drive or uber, however since I didn't have a car, I chose to walk and I am so glad I did, it was a lovely stroll through an historic neighborhood filled with charming homes. The concierge recommended some great restaurants on University Avenue (the "Main Street" of town) and I enjoyed myself there.
This hotel is clearly geared toward business travelers, but even so, I enjoyed my two nights there.

They have a very nice restaurant which offers a Sunday brunch. They also have an espresso bar with breakfast foods which is very good.
Yes there is a daily fee if you use the valet. There is also a self-park option nearby. Unsure the cost.
