If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. That being said, the Cedar Lodge is a quaint roadside motel that is clean and comfortable and a good value for the money. We stayed 2 nights and found the proprietors very welcoming. The rooms had free Wi-Fi and cable television. There was also in room coffeemaker, mini fridge...

A group of friend/co-workers and I went on a ski trip to Mt. Shasta, first we stayed at a place that was ok, but was really expensive and not really worth it at all. Then we heard about the Cedar Lodge, only 5 min drive from Shasta and it was $60 cheaper!! So we decided to give it a shot,...

Stayed to visit friends, loved everything about it! I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. Grounds were very clean as we're the rooms. Staff was also amazing. It was quite and very welcoming a great place to relax and call home away from home.

I stayed one night on a road trip. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the towels were amazing. The comments of other folks about road noise was true for me too. And it went pretty much all night. But the room key is a real key with a 'mail from anywhere' key chain. That, and the bottle opener...

I am used to quiet. My room was near the front. Constant freeway noise. Door does not seal well, so lots of air circulation. Pets are $10 each. Bed is stiff, and room could use a shampoo or air. Not bad, just not good either. The front desk is nice.

Thank you for you input without it we couldn't keep all straight. Like the town of Dunsmuir itself, Cedar Lodge Motel reflects small town mountain warmth. Rather than the rubber stamp appearance of so many small motels along major American highways, the traveler to this motel will find not only whistle clean accommodations and all the usual amenities, they will also be entertained by a huge bird aviary and fish pond, which...

Recently stayed one night at Cedar Lodge and had no problems. The location is quite scenic, very relaxing and appealing. I found the motel quiet and my room was very clean and met my expectations. Management folks were cordial and the bird aviary/koi pond was a pleasant addition to the atmosphere of the property. It was easy to get into...

We spent a night in this private, charming little lodge. It was very clean & you can open the windows to let in fresh air, a seemingly rarer option these days. Easy on the budget, too. If we travel through Dunsmuir again, we'll definitely call the Cedar Lodge for a room.
