There is an Okay 9 hole golf course. We met some Great vacationers - always happy hour at someone's deck. The clubhouse happy hours and Entertainment nights are fun. Unfortunately it is in a Very windy area of Palm Springs.
We spent a month at The Sands and enjoyed our time there. The front gate is open all day to accommodate golfers. The gate should be behind the golf course entrance so that the park is protected by the fence. We were concerned about the robberies we were hearing about but management doesn’t seem to be doing too much about it or they certainly don’t communicate with guests or residents. When we pulled in we were told in order to get wifi we had to go to Time Warner office in DHS. In order to get wifi we had to have it hooked up in our site. We paid over $100 to have it hooked up and that will now be there for the next guest. When we mentioned this at the desk they didn’t really care. So if you park here make sure that the proper equipment is in that site for the wifi to be hooked up. The oleander hedge is excellent. It gives privacy and the park is really quiet. …
Management lied to obtain additional fees to which they weren't entitled. Worst two faced people we have dealt with in a long time. Thieves and Liars and corporate management were just as bad in that they supported falsification of records and failed to correct their records. These people plan to rip you off by not giving out accurate rate information, charging different rates to everyone, and failing to provide proper receipts.
Very nice RV Park while visiting the Palm Springs area. Beautiful gated park with some permanent residents. Nice golf course, but did not bring our clubs. 3 dogs runs that was great for our pups. Every Wednesday they have a great together in pool area. Each space separated with fences or bushes. Nice operating machines in laundry room. Would recommend this park for any RVer's visiting Palm Springs.
This is a beautiful rv park. Palm trees in front of each spot that end up lining each of the streets. Many people put Christmas tree lights around the trunks making it very nice to look at when walking around at night. The are hedges separating each of the spots giving you some level of privacy from your neighbors. Boccie ball courts, pickle ball courts, a golf course, 50ft swimming pool very good for laps. They provided paddles and balls for the pickle ball court if you didn't have your own. You could rent golf clubs if you didn't bring your own. They have a rec room with card tables, some computers to access the internet. Every Wednesday they have free snacks, drinks, and live music by the pool. Lots of activities going on each week. You can see the calendar on their website. There is a laundry room with coin operated equipment to use. The have free WiFi, the only issue I had was limiting the WiFI to two devices. If you have two people and they both have a phone and an iPad, then each time you go to use a different device you are dropped off the first device. I had brought an echo dot to use for making shopping lists and other things but it was to difficult to keep it connected to use. The staff and the guests were very friendly. The place truly lives up to its name as a resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year.…
We were camping in a Roadtrek CS Adventurous. Campsite: 5/5 - concrete pads and sites are spacious and separated by vegetation Washrooms: 4/5 - very clean Amenities: 3/5 - golf course - looks great but didn't use it, swimming pool, hot tube etc. - WiFi was poor Staff: 5/5 - very friendly and helpful
After ring for 5 yrs in 100's of rv parks this has to top anyone's list. Best bang for the buck, very friendly and tons of amenities from 8 Bocce courts, 8 brand new pickle ball courts. Huge swimming pool with 2 massive hot tubs. Park models and rvs allowed all on a beautifully manicured 9 hole golf course. Other activities include a dance hall, pool tables and shuffle board as well as weekly dances. Large back in sites and we'll maintained and clean.
Empfehlung!
A nice resort! We had a premium site which backs onto a "wash". Between each site are 8 foot high Oleander Bushes, which makes them quite private. A nice 9 hole golf course is on site with several of the holes driving around 300 yards. Cost is $19 for 9 holes but you can buy punch cards and sales come up which gets the cost down to $15 a round. There is a swimming pool, Card and billiard room (3 or 4 tables.) Security Gates require a code to enter after hours. This park had the best WiFi access we have ever come across. Obviously managed well. You are given two codes for access, and you do have to enter those quite often. We were always able to review maps, get e mail, etc. without any issues. The speed was excellent most times, however at busy times response was a little slower. Very good job on this important service to residents. The location is good, with a short drive to Palm Springs, the outlet malls and in good proximity for a day trip to Joshua Tree Park. We found this location to be relatively windier than when you travel into Palm Springs area. It can get very windy, so much so you do not wish to be outside. We have heard it is always windy in the valley (area). All in all, on the really windy days we just went on a day trip and it was usually not as bad elsewhere. Great Park.…
