The hotel is not luxurious but fun. The rooms are big and clean. It is an older property, a little bit outdated, and there are some minor upkeep issues, but none of those things affected our stay. I appreciated the front desk staff. They were very helpful. The thermal pools and outside property is very good. Seven different hot tubs at different temperatures and one large, swimming pool which they keep at 85 degrees. Access to the pools is 24/7 and the front desk provides towels upon request. Restaurant is poolside serving both inside and outside. According to their policy you can check out at 11:30 but stay in the pools all the day. I would definitely recommend this place for families with kids.

We booked here last minute and we really liked the hotel, atmosphere, and of course the multiple warm/hot mineral pools was awesome! My man and I had one of the hot pools to ourselves and it was perfect for a night under the stars. I love that you can use the pools 24/7. It was also great that when there was a group of loud guests who brought their own boom box for "all" in the large pool area to hear, the hotel security came by within a few minutes asking them to turn it off and have courtesy to guests enjoying the evening. The downside to our stay was that the room needs considerable updating. They definitely need to replace the mattresses but the biggest disappointment was the shower. The shower head is tiny, old and covered in calcium buildup making the water pressure abysmal and it was impossible to regulate the water temperature, finding hot was a challenge and then it was either scalding or barely luke warm. It may seem trivial, but a good bed and good shower when you're traveling are essential. With that said the rooms were clean and I would still stay again and recommend, I might just ask if there are rooms that have been more recently updated. I know they are completely sold out during most of the Coachella area events so I hope that they reinvest some of that into upgrading the rooms. :-)

I would like to highly recommend Rosalinda for massage services at Miracle Springs. If you go through the reviews there are several commending her for her expertise, for good reason. I came here intending to take the $18 day pass for the pools, but found if I booked a spa service they give you the day pass for no charge. I took a $85 massage, 50 minutes. Rosalinda gave a complete front/back massage and worked out some extra tension stored up in my neck and shoulders. Rosalinda had a great balance between friendly conversation and quiet time for relaxing during the massage. If I lived in Desert Hot Springs, she would be my regular therapist.

We’re not picky about hotels and are happy with clean sheets and hot water. We were still disappointed.

The shower was scalding hot the first night and only lukewarm all the days after that.

The staff is clearly overworked, and this translates into very poor service. They don’t answer the front desk phone when you call from the room, and they ignore people patiently waiting in line and help anyone who approaches and interrupts instead. Guests are required to return the keys to the front desk at checkout, and when I did this in the early morning it was the only time there wasn’t a line. Unfortunately, the employee on duty was on his personal cell phone and not in any hurry to acknowledge or help me.

My room key stopped working midway through our stay, and the employee reprogrammed it without asking for my name or any identifying information whatsoever.

The air intake screen on the hair dryer was so packed with dust and lint that it hardly blew any air and was useless.

The final charges were higher than the charges on our reservation, with no explanation and no incidental charges made to the room.

Other things to know if you decide to stay here: This hotel was probably beautiful in its heyday, which is now long past. It is now shoddy with peeling finishes and leaky ceilings when it rains.
The toiletries provided are insufficient for more than one night, and there is no housekeeping provided during your stay. See above regarding trying to ask the front desk for help in any way. The room has a rickety microwave and a mini-fridge with no freezer compartment. The pools are dated but were warm and did not smell of sulfur. There is a sofa but there is no ceiling light or lamp anywhere nearby, so reading there is impossible. The two queen mountain view room is spacious, and the view is of a run-down neighborhood and some power lines with a glimpse of mountains. There is no fitness center. Parking is tight. There is a gift shop, an on-site restaurant, and a spa, but we did not use these services so I cannot speak to their quality.

We are sorry you feel that way. We are overall a much more comfortable resort than the Super 8 and sorry to hear that you did not enjoy any of the dining or spa services offered on site. Our free wifi and parking and 24 hour pools are all available every day of the year. We do understand your desire to leave us valuable feedback and thank you for words. We will look into the areas you addressed and see if they can be enhanced immediately. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.

Where should we start! This "Resort" has not been upgraded since it was built! The old furniture and beds with creators in them where people have been sleeping for the past 20 years. The rooms were not just old looking and not updated but they were dirty!!! The carpets are old, dirty, stained and buckled! The bed skirts were all disheveled and uneven!
The sliding door was filthy as was the screen and 2 unmatched plastic chairs on the deck. The old microwave was clean but the refrigerator was over frozen and was in need of defrosting. The AC vent had 2 Febreze vent clips to cover any orders.
The bathroom had dirt and nasty stuff all over the walls as well as the grout in the tile is BLACK and the toilet seat was broken
The hot spring pool felt lovely but are in desperate need for repairs.
Missing tile and grout. The grounds are kept up very nicely. The Capri Restaurant was ok. Long wait times but the steak and burgers were good. The pasta sauce was horrible, if they are billed as an Italian Restaurant it needs to be changed quickly. Their steak was much better! The wait staff tried very hard to keep up. The Server who attempted to wait on the poolside customers was slow and had the biggest attitude. Once she was tipped her attitude changed but the service never got better. It Took an hour to get just a cocktail or glass of water. ( if it ever came).
We wanted to love this place but the best part our stay was getting messages. They were would give 4 stars by themselves. We would have to giving the. 5 stars had they been given a better spa area to work in

We came in spontaneously on our way to Landers, to enjoy the pools for a few hours. The price is great for a day pass, compared to other spas in the area and the receptionists were really kind and inviting. It made us feel we came to yhe right place! The complex of pools doesn't feel crowded and the grounds seem well tended and the water is clean with varoius pools with different temperatures. We loved it!
Unfortunately we didn't have time for massages or the sauna.
They have a small gift shop to buy hats, sunscreen and even bathing suits. Towels can be bought for 10$ as well...which seems like a fair price. So yes! I def recommend the place!

My daughter and I come here every year, it’s our favorite getaway from a busy life in Los Angeles. Short drive 1,5 hour and you are in paradise. It has like 9 pools with mineral water that doesn’t dry your skin and doesn’t irritate your eyes (which is important for kids that always dive and splash). My daughter has asthma and her asthma doesn’t like chlorine but this water is mineral water so she never has problems with her asthma here. Nice Italian restaurant is right next to the pool so we don’t even drive anywhere during our trips. Friendly stuff too. We will come again and again!!!

I came here with my daughter at the end of September 2022. We love this place and try to come here once or twice a year and always stay here! It became a tradition. We love the pools with natural hot springs water, they have 9 different pools, all with different temperatures from cooler to hot ones. Cooler big pool is still warm and pleasant for the day time and swimming and smaller spas with hot water are amazing when you get cold or at night all year round! The best part is the eyes and skin don't dry up because it's natural mineral water. My daughter has asthma and asthma and chlorine don't work well together but here with mineral water her asthma never gets triggered. There are some people that come here for a day with a day pass as treatment. Our friends visited us too during our stay with day passes, kids enjoyed the pool! There is a nice Italian restaurant there and you can order food or drinks to eat by the pool as well if you don't wanna eat at the restaurant. Can't wait to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and spa. The room was spacious and clean, the pools were clean and there were several temperatures to choose from, all the way from swimming pool temps up to scalding hot. All of our service was friendly, welcoming, and Covid conscious. We had great massages from both Vontrey and Rosa Linda—I highly recommend taking the time to do that during your stay. We had both lunch and dinner from the restaurant, and both meals were very good, well executed and very affordable. We had eggplant parmigiana and rack of lamb, and even with two glasses of wine each and splitting both an appetizer and dessert the bill was just under $100. Overall the place is slightly outdated but it’s a very retro stop that’s reminiscent of times gone by.

I have never seen so many employees at a hotel at once; zipping around with smiles while cleaning, maintaining, and serving. At all hours, there was someone walking through the pool area to check on guests and make sure that the temps of the different pools were just right. Adam started our mornings out with charisma and stellar service. The food was tasty and really affordable as well.

Pro tips: The hotel also owns the Microbuddery Dispensary and when you stay here you get 40 percent off + FREE delivery!!
Pro tips:
The fried appetizers (including calamari) was deep fried with a thick batter, so I didn't care for them much . The coconut shrimp was decent. Add turkey to the tomato/avocado.

We prefer smoking be 10 feet away from the building, and not near other rooms. We have an outdoor area that meets these requirements on the south end of the pools.
