Very recently remodeled inside and out. New plaster and paint on the outside along with newer plants and landscaping. No restaurant or complimentry morning breakfast. They do have hot coffee and tea in the AM. We selected one of the celeberty rooms. The king bed was very comfortable but the pillows; even though large, were not to my liking and I forgot to bring my own pillow as I usually do. The bathroom fan was very noisy but the fixtures were all new along with newly tiled shower. We did notice that the walls were not insulated very well and you could hear people talking and moving items across the floor above us. There was no table between the chairs in our room nor was there any form of desk so if you decided to fix yourself a snack you had to sit on the bed to eat. There was a small frig and microwave and tiny area to prepare food. Be sure and bring the necessary items you may need, i.e., spoon, bowl, glasses, etc. We stayed four nights in late February during the week and our total bill including taxes was $450. We were impressed!! Also, the mineral spas (two) and pool were very nice and kept well maintained. Our only bad experience was when a young couple brought a baby under one year old into the pool with a Pampers diaper. The child was screaming at the top of it's voice!! That's when we decided it was time to go in.

Room Tip: Celebrity rooms are great. First floor near pool. Don't use on weekends...way too noisy.

Stayed in a suite with an in room spa. The staff was excellent, especially Paola and Michelle, but everyone was really friendly and pleasant. The hotel seems like it is good for families and people who don’t want to pay ridiculous prices for a nice place to stay with a pool and spa. I liked the game room. It was nice to have a place to hang out, eat our excellent dinner from Fisherman’s Market (Uber eats is the best), and visit with friends. As far as the spa suite, it is an actual small pool in your hotel room, not just a jacuzzi tub, it does smell a little like chlorine but all indoor pools do (I was a lifeguard so I should know), the temperature was perfect, it was clean and the jets were nice. I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is not a 5 star resort and doesn’t pretend to be. I got a nice room and great service at a great price and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. In fact, I prefer it to Two Bunch Palms (yes I’ve stayed there before and it is very nice but it’s getting a little too “New Age”). And while I didn’t have kids with me I liked how accommodating they were to families while restricting kids to certain rooms and pool hours. Will definitely be back soon.

My travel to Palm Springs was unfortunately at the onset of the coronavirus panic, so obviously, all emotions were more heightened and hotel occupancy was reduced. However, even with the panic and vacancy, somehow I was in a room which was in the far corner of the hotel and on the top floor when there were plenty of empty rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor closer to an entrance/exit. Fortunately, the room was always clean and very chic. In terms of amenities, I wasn't very impressed and not sure I would classify it as a mineral water spa. Options for massage/relaxation services seemed limited and very pricey. The pool and indoor spa were open 24hr, which was neat, and hotel staff extremely helpful. There is no onsite fitness center, and the affiliated gym was about 3-4miles away, and required you have a car to get to. Getting to Palm Springs always requires a 30min bus ride or 10 mile drive, but fortunately there are some close by restaurant chains and grocery stores. Overall, an average rating for a place marketed as a hotel/spa.

Prior to booking, I phoned the hotels front desk and specifically asked if the pools were open 24 hours. The man at the front desk said, of course, they’re open 24/7, so I booked the room, trusting the employees of the hotel.

We arrived to the hotel to a rude and dismissive young lady at reception who handed us a list of unexpected and ridiculous rules for the hotel. You cannot smoke on any of the private outdoor balconies, you can only have water by the pool, you can’t play any sort of music, etc etc. There were so many rules that I skimmed the paper and signed the agreements for the room that was nonrefundable and paid for, since the only thing we really cared about was the 24 hour pool and we had received confirmation about that.

We waited to go into the pools until about 9:30 since there were no kids there anymore, and soaked for about 30 minutes, which was lovely. Until another employee came out and told us the pool closes at 10. I told her that I spoke to someone that morning and he said they were 24 hours, which is why I booked the room. She said “well they’re closed”. So we went back to the room and waited until the morning to speak to a manager, as we were confident that the management would come to a reasonable agreement with us.

In the morning we went downstairs and talked to the manager Paola. Keeping with the pattern of rude passive aggression, Paola refused to provide an adequate resolution to the issue. Offering us a 15% refund on the grounds that we had no complaints about the room. When I put it to her that the only reason we stayed here was for the pools, which are clearly worth much more to this hotel, and which we got false confirmation about, she passive aggressively told me to have a nice day.
She did not care at all that we got false information about this hotel from one of their employees, she said she’d retrain them (she didn’t even ask who we spoke to so I’m not sure how that will work) did not apologize, and was honestly one of the most immature managers I’ve ever spoken to.

I would never stay here again, it is not nearly worth the price. Between the non working wifi, the rude staff, the pools curfew, and the ridiculous rules with barely any amenities, a Super8 would provide you a much better experience at a much more fair price. The rooms look much better in pictures, and you can definitely find a better hotel for a similar price in this area.
If you do choose to stay at this overpriced and overrated hotel, be cautious when booking a room at Aqua Soleil. Clearly you cannot trust even what the employees say. They also do not have smoking rooms, even though it says that on certain booking websites.

I hope the owner realizes that their staff, especially their managers, are ill equipped for the job and extremely rude and dismissive.

We’ve always wanted to come to Palm Springs and relax so we specially booked the Aqua Soleil suite specifically for the in room hot tub and it didn’t disappoint. The hot tub was even larger in person than the pictures and it was awesome to scratch that off my bucket list. Beyond the in-room hot tub, the hotel was definitely cute/boutique. We enjoyed the heated pool, heated hot tub, and even the nice bed which appeared to be new. I’ve also got to give props to the staff who were amazing and were always checking to see how our stay was. They were amazing. Although we really enjoyed our stay, there were a few different things we felt could have improved. For example, the lock/latches on the door looked very worn and my wife commented that it didn’t see very safe. In addition, we knew it was motel style but I thought I could see light coming from under the door it didn’t look completely sealed which seemed a little odd/sketchy to me at first. The other thing was that we could hear people above us running in their room at like 2am and I realized there’s like no insulation in the rooms. I heard they’re renovating those rooms so perhaps they can fix those small details but with all of that said, we felt safe and the room was very clean so it didn’t detract too much. If you want a hotel that’s centrally located in PS and is a corporate hotel where you want a more traditional hotel then I’d go with the Hilton or Hyatt in downtown PS or Palm Desert. However if you want a place that’s super unique and unlike any hotel you’ve been to, this is your place. The suite with the hot tub is a bucket list hotel stay you’ve got to experience that you won’t get from any of the other big hotel chains. Beyond the small inconvenience of being 15 mins from PS it was worth it for the experience of staying there. I’m glad we chose to stay there.

I was so happy that I booked the Aqua Soleil Hotel. Upon my arrival I was immediately impressed with the standard of cleanliness, inside the hotel and around the expansive and beautiful property, it made me instantly relax. The room decor is light and bright, it definitely adds a nice touch, and the rooms are a nice size, very comfortable. All of the staff were welcoming and attended to my needs. Kiki and Jim took the time to share their favorite restaurant choices, and Leslie was great to chat with and gave excellent recommendations of things to do in the nearby vicinity. The pool was stunning and the natural mineral spring water pumped from a well nearby was extra incredible. It was so healing and comfortable, I wanted to live in the pool. When I return to the area, I will definitely book my stay at Aqua Soleil , the prices are so reasonable too, and it's only about a ten minute drive into Palm Springs. What a great find! :))

Rented a suite with a jacuzzi for the night with my wife. The jacuzzi didn’t work our whole stay. The night time front desk worker Sebastian was unbelievably rude and told me that he wasn’t going to do anything about the jacuzzi and then threatened to throw my wife and I out of the hotel at midnight because I was asking him to do something about the issue with the jacuzzi, when he obviously wanted to be on his phone. The manager decided to call my wife after we checked out and instead of trying to fix the situation she made multiple attempts to make her feel bad for us speaking up that their worker made us feel uncomfortable and didn’t do anything to fix the only reason we spent an extra $100 (A Jacuzzi). This staff doesn’t care about your stay, health, absolutely nothing at all. Please Stay In A Tent If You To. Avoid This Place Like The Plague.

I got severe skin rashes and irritation after soaking into pool and outdoor spas which contains chlorine.

For those who have sensitive skin and allergy to chemical, please avoid this hotel.

Room is ok with mountain view but you can hear heavy street noise as the hotel is on the busy street.

Wonderful staff. Don’t see much of that anymore. They will clean the room and put new towels in your room - just need to ask the front desk. The pool and both hot tubs are perfect. Love and recommend sitting around the outdoor fire pit.

It started okay yesterday (6/26/21), but today my wife went to the front desk to request a paid extended check out which was granted for 4pm. I get a call at 12:30pm with the front desk ordering us to vacate the room?!

I explained that my wife had gone to the front desk to request a paid extended check out in person and it didn't matter over the phone....I was still ordered to vacate the room immediately. I Had to send my wife back over to the front desk in person to clear the issue. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't treat your paying customers like illegal squatters is all I have to say. 😡
