NUMBER OF ROOMS
My travel to Palm Springs was unfortunately at the onset of the coronavirus panic, so obviously, all emotions were more heightened and hotel occupancy was reduced. However, even with the panic and vacancy, somehow I was in a room which was in the far corner of the hotel and on the top floor when there were plenty of empty rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor closer to an entrance/exit. Fortunately, the room was always clean and very chic. In terms of amenities, I wasn't very impressed and not sure I would classify it as a mineral water spa. Options for massage/relaxation services seemed limited and very pricey. The pool and indoor spa were open 24hr, which was neat, and hotel staff extremely helpful. There is no onsite fitness center, and the affiliated gym was about 3-4miles away, and required you have a car to get to. Getting to Palm Springs always requires a 30min bus ride or 10 mile drive, but fortunately there are some close by restaurant chains and grocery stores. Overall, an average rating for a place marketed as a hotel/spa.…
Aqua soliel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in The rooms were not worth the price. The staff was rude and the pool does not have mineral waters at all. They completely misrepresented themselves Plus their restaurant is barely open and they are way overpriced. They cheated me out of money by double charging me as I paid cash upon checking out but they still ran my credit card and refused to admit their mistake after I had witnesses that saw me pay cash as well as a receipt They are thieves. My advice is stay far far away from them
Stayed one night. Was alarmed by security guards by pool and general sketchiness of property, then got bit by bed bugs. Ended up moving to Hilton in Rancho Mirage which was clean, nice area, friendly staff.
Hotel staff is great. Rooms are modestly decorated, comfortable and clean. Hotel is smoke free, but one may smoke in the parking lot. They offer free parking and WiFi. There is a nice size pool and several spas to ease the aches of a long day. Amenities include a refrigerator, flat screen TV, hair dryer, coffee maker and toiletries. No continental breakfast, but there are several strip malls with fast food restaurants just a block or so away. We stayed 3 times in February.
Very recently remodeled inside and out. New plaster and paint on the outside along with newer plants and landscaping. No restaurant or complimentry morning breakfast. They do have hot coffee and tea in the AM. We selected one of the celeberty rooms. The king bed was very comfortable but the pillows; even though large, were not to my liking and I forgot to bring my own pillow as I usually do. The bathroom fan was very noisy but the fixtures were all new along with newly tiled shower. We did notice that the walls were not insulated very well and you could hear people talking and moving items across the floor above us. There was no table between the chairs in our room nor was there any form of desk so if you decided to fix yourself a snack you had to sit on the bed to eat. There was a small frig and microwave and tiny area to prepare food. Be sure and bring the necessary items you may need, i.e., spoon, bowl, glasses, etc. We stayed four nights in late February during the week and our total bill including taxes was $450. We were impressed!! Also, the mineral spas (two) and pool were very nice and kept well maintained. Our only bad experience was when a young couple brought a baby under one year old into the pool with a Pampers diaper. The child was screaming at the top of it's voice!! That's when we decided it was time to go in.…
