Really nice relaxing place, spent there two nights, and enjoyed nature. Rooms are very nicely designed, great Coffe with machine in the room... better than most coffees one can get downtown. Can understand people complaining about loudness, but it was not due to the hotel infrastructure, more the people not really behaving in a proper way...The restaurant is awesome too....

Beautiful resort with the most delightful staff! Everyone try to accommodate and make you feel welcome. Some parts of the resort were still under construction but we barely noticed any of the noise during our stay. Everything about this place was wonderful. From the amazing free classes with professional instructors(yoga, meditation, Thai chi, painting, shaman reading) to the relaxing grotto pool and new...

First the good about it : Michael Hamilton is teaching TAI CHI and MEDITATION ther, and this is unbelievable... he is a great spirit and awesome teacher!!!! I will go there asap again just for getting in touch with his knowledge (learned with all the main teachers of this world). Then another surprise; the menu is the best that i...

We loved the facility. Great hot springs, good restaurant, beautiful grounds, good room. But the service was no good for a luxury spa. None of the people working there were very knowledgeable or helpful. On Checkout there was only one woman before 12 which is checkout time. The phone rang constantly and we waited and waited at least 45 minutes...

This place is a haven of relaxation, beautifully designed and with all amenities on site, including an excellent restaurant, a gorgeous grotto pool and a decent spa. On the downside: - (1) this is supposed to be a quiet, whispering resort, but some guests are really loud including late at night, and the insulation between rooms is poor, so forget...

Thank you for being honest with your review. We are constantly managing the 'noise' level especially when people feel the need to laugh and be social in a whisper zone. I use an apple and have had no problems but I understand your frustration with the wifi. Furniture is being address with more improvements in the future.

I have been coming 3-4 x a year now for the past decade or so, and was worried about what it would do be like after the 6-7 week closure for renovations. Sometimes we hate to see the places we love and are so familiar with change. I got here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the changes, because not...

If you are looking for a secluded private getaway this is your place. Very quiet adults only getaway. The grotto is great with great mineral water that does not have any smell. The restaurant on site is amazing with great breakfast and lunch options. They are still doing some construction but those areas are nicely blocked off. They also offer great...

Two Bunch Palms is a real spa, not just a hotel that happens to also have a spa on site. Lovely grounds and obvious improvements happening, meanwhile the charm of the old buildings makes this a step back in time. Setting - beautiful. Grounds - lovely. Room - fantastic. Pool - small but nice to sit by and paddle around...

We consider ourselves a destination spa resort where the grounds and the experience can only be accessed with a room, spa or dining reservation so we can preserve the serenity and the comfort of being in your robes all day. I prefer the grotto myself :-).

First of all, the restaurant is amazing!!!! For a really low price you get the best you can imagine... Very fine sensitive world cuisine. And the rest is of high standards too, beginning It the real espresso. illy at its best. Then the training offered are fantastic, meditation and Tai chi by Michael, angel reading, yoga... Mostly agree with Citycowgirl713's review. I, too, was surprised by the renovation upon arrival as it was never mentioned anywhere. Nonetheless, my room was far enough away that other than when using the grotto area, it wasn't a problem. At the grotto, though, when relaxation is key, it most certainly is a problem, not to mention the workmen walking through...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Marking 75 years in 2015, Two Bunch Palms has much to celebrate. Last year's incredible renovation of the 270-acre property resulted in 70 'soulful' new room accommodations, a farm-to-table restaurant Essense, passive solar earth mound yoga dome and a new View Point conference center and meeting facility with views of the valley against the San Jacinto Mountains. This physical transformation, including the addition of a 3.5-Acre solar field, puts Two Bunch Palms on the destination spa map as the first "Sustainable Wellness Resort" in North America and the first carbon-neutral resort. A legacy that spans several generations of guests-from notorious gangsters to Hollywood elite to romantic spa seekers-the property and its newest incarnation brings a rich and storied history full circle. This adult-only sanctuary (guests must be 18 or older) invites you to explore the four pillars of the resort: waters, spa, movement and cuisine. Their renowned, natural lithium-infused spring grotto features two mineral water pools carefully kept at a consistent temperature to ensure therapeutic and mood-enhancing properties. Guests are encouraged to "take to the 600-year old waters" and connect body with spirit before enjoying the spa well-known for its intuitive healers and authentic treatments. The new Essense restaurant features healthier gourmet dining prepared by a Le-Cordon Bleu trained chef with the help of a PHD nutritionist. With a nourished body, guests may partake in more than 35 wellness activities, such as meditation, art classes, tai chi, qigong and yoga in the beautiful new dome. ... more   less
