The group of the residences lies in the village Mainites of Andros. It abstains roughly 10' (by car) from sea and from capital of the island. Maisonettes offer all the comforts that could somebody ask in order to enjoy his vacations as those were imagined. Internally the visitor will feel the comfort of staying in an autonomous two-level residence which communicates with internal scale with a hatch at the top which isolates the two floors. The loft allocates one or even two balconies, air condition, its own WC and a TV set. In the living room of the ground floor there is a foldaway couch-bed, dining place and of course kitchen and refrigerator together with other essential units as well as DVD player. An ADSL internet connection is also available in every maisonette.

In the green and the property is beautiful...!!! You hear birds and cicadas... The room is simple with its own taste, spotlessly clean, as is the toilet...!!! Mrs. Ourania and her husband, Mr. Theodoros, if I remember correctly..., with a bright human smile!!! Recommended for children. Close to Chora, Piges, Sariza, nearby Monasteries, e.g. Agia Irini, Panachrantou Monastery, the only drawback, but for me not at all, maybe everything that is at a distance from the beaches...
We will go again, because we loved Andros!!!

I spent a 9 -day vacation on Andros island. I found this place on the net. It had a high ranking and I chose it. The rankig was correct. What I can write? Very friendly owner and staff. Clean and cosy place, Excellent service comparing to the price of the studio. Very nice view of the mountains.

Me and my partner returned from an extended trip to Greece, during which we stayed at Mainades in Andros. I have to say it was one of the highlights of our trip. The room was fantastic, yet very tastefully decorated and clean and we have breathtaking views to the sea. I highly recommend mainades hotel to anyone .

We booked a maisonette by phone for a week and when we arrived a bad surprise awaited us. But they presented in the photos and we saw a different picture. The yard was abandoned, dirty full of grass and dry trees. The room was in bad condition, it smelled moldy, with rusty furniture and no screens, so we were chasing mosquitoes all night. Unfortunately for us, we fell into a heatwave and the downstairs was boiling as there was no air conditioning, only an ancient ceiling fan. The worst thing was the toilet, without a shower faucet, with a rotten toilet lid as well as the bathroom furniture broken and rotten from the humidity and the door creaked to the point that it woke up the whole block. And the smell of mold spread everywhere.....The overnight stay in the MAISON HOUSE cost 80 euros (with a discount from Ms. Ourania...) as well as the wonderful studio, next to the beach, that we rented when we left this abode, The lack professionalism of the owners ruined 3 days of our vacation. Shame on them for renting such places in 2023!!!!!

We walked into Menites on one of the lovely trails. At first we could not find a place to sleep. We walked in the direction of the resort south of the springs in the village center. Next to the resort is the small complex of houses called Mainades. Small very well kept studios and houses in a garden like setting. Clean. A very nice and helpful lady is in charge. We were pleasantly surprised by the way she welcomed us. In the morning we walked in about 10 minutes to the beginning of the hiking route.
