What a wonderful place to stay. We had a lovely large room on the 3rd floor with a balcony looking out over the harbour. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Buffet style breakfast was really good and the wine and snacks in the afternoon were a really nice touch. Really

A peaceful stay at a beautiful Inn. Delicious breakfasts, friendly staff, extremely accommodating.
Zen-like sunrises and sunsets. Close to Laguna Beach. Far from the CA fires. Always welcomed by cookies, coffees, and fruit-filled water.

Has anyone stayed here while spending most of their time exploring Laguna Beach? Is it a convenient location for that, or would you recommend actually staying on Laguna Beach? This B&B just looks great! Thanks in advance!
We spent three nights at the Blue Lantern for the experience while we explored Dana Point. It lived up to expectations. That said, we have only visited Laguna Beach for the art festival and stopping while passing through from one place to another. I would suggest that you look for a similar place to Blue Lantern in LB, or amend your sightseeing and spend a little time in DP and a day trip or two to LB.

I have read that the Inn is pet friendly. Has anyone stayed at the Inn with a dog? Do you know which type of rooms are designated as pet friendly?
Hi Traveler, Our pet friendly guestroom is a Pacific Edge guestroom located on the ground floor of the inn. The guestroom features a king bed and it does have steps leading into it and a limited view which should be taken into consideration when making a reservation. It is advisable to book this guestroom well in advance as availability can be limited. You can find further details of our pet friendly policy on our website or by telephoning the inn directly (800) 950-1236. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

"Well worth paying extra to get a room on the top floor overlooking the harbour & ocean"
"Ocean and harbor view rooms are comfortable and spacious"
"We like floor 2&3 rooms in the tower. They have great views, a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates."
"If you want a view of Ocean, you need to ask in advance"
"do not ask for the first floor. If we were on the second floor or above, we could have opened the windows instead of using the AC"
