Detailed Reviews
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and it was NOT what the pictures presented! I was very disappointed as it was not super cheap and in a sketchy neighborhood. The toilet did not flush, there was what looked like a used bar of soap open on one of the towels, the room was supposed to be a non smoking room but smelled like smoke, the bathtub was disgusting and the bed linen was not clean looking. I could not even stay there a night and left in tears to find a better hotel. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!! Overall it looked like a motel you would bring a prostitute to and handle your business then leave.

We stayed at the Geneva Ave. Days Inn for one night on Sept. 18, 2004. The room itself was fine. It was the area around the hotel that I didn't care much for. We weren't familiar with the area, and had trouble finding somewhere to eat dinner. The only restaurants nearby were McDonalds, a KFC/Taco Bell combo and a couple of tiny local places. We gave up and ate McDonalds in our room. We ended up just staying in our room the rest of the night for a few reasons. We weren't particularly comforable with the area the hotel was in. There was a median in the street which made driving in and out a bit difficult. Lastly, there is exactly ONE parking space per room..we were a bit nervous about not having a parking space if we were to come back late. In the morning, the Continental Breakfast was skimpy. Packaged danishes (not well-stocked), coffee, and juice. Despite my complaints, the Days Inn did provide a comfortable night's stay for a reasonable price.

The room looks nothing like the pictures online. Way too expensive for the room you are given. $170.00 for a small ugly room that didn't even have a microwave or refrigerator. Very small parking lot area.

We got a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking. There were cigarette butts left in an ashtray from previous guests. We asked the maids to clean it up for us while we were at the game at Candlestick and they hadn't done it when we returned. The breakfast was a joke...pretzles, cheap danish and crappy fruit for breakfast. No real restaurants to speak of besides Taco Bell and McDonalds near by. UGH! Never again!

When we pulled through the neighborhood in the dark we were immediately calling trying too find a new hotel. The neighborhood is a little iffy at first glance but our experience with this hotel has been nothing but great. Very clean rooms that are updated, extremely nice front desk attendant. Far away from quiet a few things but the bus and light rail are right around the corner. Id have no problem staying here again.

I am a long haul driver that was being laid over in San Francisco for several days, because no truck stops in the immediate area I decided to get a room for a couple of days was told there was a place I could possibly park my truck without the trailer at the Bridgepoint Inn,
The cost of the room was outrageous for the neighborhood, $90 night, manager said he was giving me the truck driver discount, lol! more like he was given me the truck driver shaft!
The rooms seem to be clean so I drove my tractor in and parked in one single parking space where I stuck out a few extra feet but did not block any other spaces at all, I open the room and immediately turn the air conditioning on to get the room cool discovered that the air conditioning did not work it was not blowing cool at all,I went back to the desk and asked him to give me a room with air conditioning that worked, he tried to convince me if I would just let it run for a while it would get cool, I insisted that he come and check it for himself, I could tell that the compressor was not kicking on, one of the other rooms was open being cleaned I turned the AC on in that room and felt the cool air immediately, so I insisted that he gave me a different room, he reluctantly complied,, later that evening I called to ask a question about the cable provider so I could figure what stations were available, I was polite in asking the question, suddenly the manager berated me saying that I was a very problematic person that I complained about everything that my truck was blocking 4 spaces when it was only in 1 and he just went on about how terrible I was and I listened to that and told him I would check out if he felt that way,
But I have never been talked to by someone so rudely for just asking one simple question and insisting that he give me a room with air conditioning that works!
I will stay here because I already paid for two nights but when that is up I will find another hotel because I've already found out I can't get my money refunded back from these people

Have been coming here for all my 49er games and have really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and the rooms are really nice and the prices are very reasonable. It is the nicest hotel in the area and has newly renovated rooms. Did not have any issues with noise and the place is extremely clean and quaint. I have stayed at some of the other hotels in this area, and this place is by far the best. The front desk lady was very sweet, she recommended a few places to eat that I would not have expected and they turned out to be really good. Now I'm set on food and accommodations when I come to the cow palace since no more 49er games there.

If you're going to build a place that is meant for people to sleep in, at least make the beds decent. The most uncomfortable bed, sheets and pillows that I have ever slept on. Is it too difficult to get a decent mattress at least? The room itself was clean and the bathroom was good. There's nothing around except for a couple of gas stations.
If you just had to stay somewhere then this is okay but don't come here if you have another choice.

This is not a 2-Star hotel. It is not even close to a 1-Star hotel. While clean, the rooms are worn, the beds are not comfortable, and my in-room table had graffiti carved into it. My first room had a broken toilet seat and was missing the fire detector. I was immediately moved to another room and the next morning I observed the maintenance guy carrying the parts to the room to fix it. The parking lot is very small, but what made it worse is that several other guests would take up 2 spaces with their vehicles. One guy even had his car across 3 spots for a little while. Saturday night was the worst, until 3 am the people above could be heard walking around the room. People in the parking lot were blasting their stereos, and you could hear cars coming and going all night. One young guy was smoking out in his car. Classy. Sunday night was much quieter, probably because the motel wasn't too full anymore. The only redeeming quality is that the lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful.
