I traveled to LA for business this month and spent three nights at the historic Culver Hotel in Culver City. I travel to LA a few times a year, but had not stayed in that area of the city before. However, it was somewhat centrally located for my business meetings and I was excited to explore a new neighborhood. The... More

I and my wife stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located in Culver City. LA is a huge city so you will end up using Uber or taxi wherever you’re staying. Last time we visited LA we stayed in Hollywood. This location was almost as good and it was great value for money. The Culver hotel is a... More

A good location and good value, a good start for a great experience. Will check into the smoking situation, not acceptable, sorry about that. We are a non-smoking hotel and have an excellent and separate part of the patio to accommodate smokers. More

. . . if I'd based it on my first night alone. Check-in was . . . unspectacular. And I don't mean that in a good way. There is a difference between low-key and low-interest -- and the check-in staff was definitely low-interest. I had a Luxe King room, which was well appointed. The setup was a little confusing --... What a surprise! Can't wait to come back! Amazing furnishing! Vibrant ground floor where practically all happen at the same time: customers check-in, the live music on the back, the food entertain your nose and palate, the amazing cocktails, what can I say! One of a kind! I love the exterior bathroom full of light. This is definitely one of... More

I visited the Culver Hotel restaurant for Saturday brunch. The ambience was charming but tired; the chairs so old, they were no longer comfortable. There appeared to be only one server, and she was either overextended or lacking in conscientiousness; we waited too long for everything and were given our silverware by the manager/maitre'd. The food was average and traditional.

We NEED to do better than what you experienced. Our brunch is getting much busier and we are staffing-up and getting our act together. Give us another chance, our confidence is high. Our new Executive Chef, Chris Barnett is making some changes. More

The Culver hotel was the perfect choice for our weekend visit. We had business Sony Studios, which is only a couple of blocks away. The hotel was updated and very clean. The bed, very comfortable. Our room was on the 6th floor, which I would recommend. Many nights the bar hosts a jazz band, which can be heard in rooms... More

Recommended by family in LA the Culver Hotel brings you back to Old Hollywood. When we arrived late one evening we had a drink in the lobby bar. Breakfast at Tiffany's was playing on the wall. A jazz band added to the atmosphere. Great breakfast included in the AM. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Beautiful room in historic... More

Many people do not realize that OLD HOLLYWOOD was actually made in Culver City. The MGM movies of the 20's and 30's were made here, on what is now the Sony Lot. There was a feud between Hollywood and Culver City for bragging rights to be identified as the center of the movie universe. It seems Hollywood prevailed, but in... More

I've stayed here several times on business. It's a real home from home. Staff are invariably lovely, attentive and helpful. The complimentary breakfast will keep you carbed up for most of the day (cooked breakfast also available). Busy cocktail bar in the evening with live music regularly. Rooms are spacious, old fashioned but high quality.Location is great, nice walkable area... More

Had brunch here. Staff very attentive and helpful. Served by Manuel from Mexico, nothing was too much trouble. I had eggs benedict and my husband had breakfast bap. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Love the interior of the hotel, note the swan taps in the ladies restroom!
