We stayed at the 2 beds (I think this the one room that has two beds) Perfect of my family of 4 since we have an infant and 6yo The Location was perfect close to all and right in front of the lake Parking behind the room gas station across the street mini market restaurants I mean every think that you would need Tho is very important to me since we have children Anyways We love how the room was equipped with everything we needed They even have wine glasses inside the small fridge which I think is best gesture for them to add. Also they have coffee maker and real mugs that they provide. I love how the front desk staff was so polite and before you check in someone actually calls you to follow up if what time are you arriving Our was ready before the “check In time they called us to let us know that it was ready which was amazing We had stay in a lot of hotel even the luxury hotels would not do that. Grateful to have find this little gem. Would definitely stay here again…
This was a wonderful, cozy spot near the lake to relax and enjoy the trees, birds, and sounds of summer from the room & balcony. "Blessed" was the word above the comfortable bed, & blessed i certainly was! Abdul was great on phone setting up the reservation and great in person for the short but meaningful stay. Would definitely come again, as many "regulars" do for some "away from the city" time. Thank you for a welcoming landing spot for some mountain-&-tree time!!
I had the pleasure of staying at the North Shore Inn the last weekend of June. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed here years ago and would love to return as soon as I can. It was very quite at night and was so nice to sit out on the balcony either early in the morning and watch the sun come up and and to be able to relax later in the evening and watch everyone with there doge enjoying a great walk.
It is tough to find a nice place to stay up here. The pros: The desk manager is great and will do anything to make your visit enjoyable. The Cons: This is not a boutique inn. It is from 1989 and has loads of deferred maintenance. It just seems old. The pillows are hard, sheets are old, even the bed is lumpy. Rooms are not spacious. But it seems generally clean. So don’t expect romantic here. But choices are limited. There are a lot of scary alternatives around these towns. If you’re bored, look at the reviews of the Antler Inn on Yelp. My wife and I read them aloud and laughed and laughed. And we’re glad we landed here.
During COVID, it's always a wonder as to where you should stay and how clean is it. This place was clean and they made every effort to make sure we had what we needed. We stayed in the suite Rooms 9 and 10 and it was fun. We stayed with some friends and had a good time. They have a kitchen and microwave, dishwasher, full size refridge. We were able to go to the store across the street and purchase food & drinks. I would recommend they replace the couch in the living room. It's seen it's last days. Also, replace all the outlets to more modern with the USB. All the outlets are worn so the plug drops out of the outlet. Seems like those suggestions would be low cost to fix. Maybe add paper towels, paper towel rack and a full size mirror. We had a great time ad staff were very friendly. Next door is a mexican restaurant which was yummy.…
This was my first trip since the covid pandemic. I was a little nervous staying in a hotel. I was the only person in the office when I checked in. I was told there wouldn't be housekeeping due to the pandemic. I couldn't find the parking lot when I checked in so I parked across the street. There are 2 spaces in front of the hotel and less than 10 spaces behind the hotel. My room had a beautiful view. There are stairs to climb up (if you are not physically able to you would have a difficult time). The room is beautifully decorated. The room has a small coffee maker and coffee and real cream packets. There was even 2 packages of chocolate chip cookies. There was wine glasses, wine bucket and a cork screw. There is a refrigerator and microwave. The shower had really good water pressure. The room was so quiet. It felt like I was the only person staying at the hotel. The hotel is close enough to walk into town. It is such a short walk to walk around the beautiful lake from the hotel. I highly recommend the hotel for a nice getaway.…
Beautiful hotel! Abdul at the front desk was very kind and very friendly when we arrived. The room was exquisite down to every detail. The sheets smelled freshly laundered and were trimmed in beautiful lace. Whoever decorated this room did a lovely job. The attention to detail was unbelievable. And very, very clean. I felt very comfortable here. We had a balcony with a view of the lake which was an extra treat. And the lake was just across the street from our room. An absolutely perfect getaway thanks in part to this gem of a hotel. Will be returning as soon as possible.
It's been a couple years since we've been to Crestline. Used to have a family cabin, so this was the first time we stayed anywhere else. It was wonderful! We stayed in Room 3 and loved it. It was a pet friendly room and you never would have guessed it. It was so clean, even though there was carpeting. Little details did not go overlooked, such as lots of towels, and ample amounts of shampoo/soaps and coffee. We never had to ask for anything! Thank you for a wonderful stay and look forward to next time!
Owner was lovely and waited up for us.. It was a wonderful stop for us. Very comfortable and welcoming to our little pup. Even had a food and water dish for him. it was so kind. We enjoyed it very much. We will be coming back in winter time. The location was lovely with a lovely view of the lake.
The hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. They make it personal with little snacks for you in the fridge. The rooms are on the small side, but nice for 2 people. The patio was a nice addition. It is a little loud with traffic driving by all the time, even at night, but that’s not the facilities fault, just happens to be on a “main” road. It is located by a grocery store that came in handy and has good chocolates and an old fashioned soda fountain inside. The “free excursion” offered were swimming passes to Lake Gregory which we did not use, just not our thing. Overall it was pleasant.
