They are build in a 4 acres hillside garden and just 50m away from a private beach. All the apartments have the same amazing sea view and guests can choose among their needs. The simple charming and unhurried atmosphere make them attractive and it is an ideal place for peaceful and quiet holidays. The hotel is very comfortable and expensive,because its has many extras like : kanu kayak, boat, windsurfing, swimming things and others.... I really enjoyed in this hotel because they offer this extras and its do your vacation extreme and fun. Of course the hotel offer wifi, rooms for families and inside kitchen. I think that this hotel is very good for families. But this hotel don't offer breakfast, you need to buy from the supermarket.

Nice quiet place and very nice appartement ,top location with beautiful beach nearby. A lot of nice fishrestaurant in the area.Very friendly and helpfull staff.can just recommend and will return for sure next summer.Ideal if u need to relax.

The setting is absolutely amazing and secluded but close to everything you need. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated to match the setting. Clean and very friendly atmosphere. Would surely visit again.

We had a connected vacation of 10 days in two different properties, booked through booking.com. One of them was for the property of The Yellow house. Just a few weeks before the vacation, they canceled our reservation and returned the payment. But our vacation is ruined and we can not find other property to connect with the first stay. We are also traveling with two children and booking.com is also not helping out, but pushing the issues to the properties.

We really enjoyed our stay. We all thought the beds were great. They were just right for us. (No "hammok" and no hard "boards" like you sometimes find in Asia) Very friendly hosts. The whole family enjoyed a big board that you could SUP with. There were enough shovels and buckets for the kids to take to the beach. Watching the sun rise from the terrace over Mt Athos had a bit of magic to it. Every night we sat on the terrace, listened to the waves and watched the moon slowly move across the sky. We did not turn on the TV once. The rooms are laid out with thought and taste. Shutters all worked so that we could take a nap in the dark after lunch. I personally would have liked a slightly larger shower but thats just me. The other three family member were fine with it. Be aware that you probably need a car to get around.
We recommend the place for people who want to explore the area, like to have a beach in walking distance and stay at a friendly, peaceful and clean place.

Very nice holliday in good facilities and fantastic service. The yellow Houses is not far from town center and 2 minuts to there own private beach. The area is very nice and worth a visit. Local restaurants are cheap with good quality and services.

The Yellow Houses are in a great location, just off the main road near Pyrgadikia. The family running the place are very friendly and welcoming. It is quite difficult to find hotels in Greece that are pet friendly, but this place is great and let us bring our dog. Moreover this place is great for relaxing, because they have ample balconies with great sea views. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities that you may need. Free parking onsite. Overall I would greatly recommend this place to all travellers who are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday.

Yellow houses are truly away from it all, but in the same time minutes from private beach, also with lots of small beaches around, you can find easy your private space. Houses are smart designed with large balconies, so everyone can have a sea view without looking at your balcony, so you truly get the feel of a private house with a private beach at a very low cost. Apartments are with lots of space inside with a kitchen equipped with absolutely anything if you love cooking, which is great experience especially when you get some fresh fish from the local fishermen. There are great restaurants in the near town, about 5 minutes drive. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. They will advise you for the best places around and will give you anything you need. We had wonderful time at the Yellow Houses! Will definitely visit again!

We stayed here for a few days this summer. The hosts were very nice and we liked the lovely views from the balcony- just as pictured. We appreciated the A/C and wifi. The houses were a bit out of the way- not quite in any town, and with the windy roads and drivers we didn't feel comfortable walking all the way to the next town so you had to drive. There was a nice little rocky beach for guests here which was very convenient.
However, the beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. I could not sleep at all because of this, so despite the other pluses, I cannot recommend this location to anyone who needs to sleep during their vacation and I would not return! Hopefully the hosts will be able to update to a better quality bed/mattress in the future.

Dear frixel, first of all we would like to thank you for your comment. The Yellow Houses apartments, as we mention in our website, is 2km away from Pyrgadikia (the nearest village), so its true that we are not inside a town. However, a lot of previous guest find this distance walkable and easy one, so its up to the person. Also, about the beds, we are really sorry that you didn't like them. To be honest is the first time that someone says that to us. However, if you had told us in advance, we would have put a soft mattress on top in order to provide you a better sleep. Thank you once again for your comment, we would try to do our best and make few changes so our future guests to have a better experience.

There are quite a few tavernas inside Pyrgadikia village (onky 2km away from The Yellow houses) that has english menus. I dont think that you will have any problem a most of the people speaks english.
