Our first stop on the Boyz Annual trip. Chosen for it's excellent location, near to Newport Beach. Just off Highway 55 in Costa Mesa. Cleanish rooms for a very reasonable price. Good service from reception.

The Cozy Inn was a nice little hotel. It did the trick for all 5 of us. Beds were a bit hard.
Close to Newport Beach about 20 min. away. We will be staying here again. If you plan on going bring shampoo and lotion.

Hello everyone,

Please do not stay at this hotel, it looks nice from the outside and pictures but once you check in an open the hotel door it smells horrible and smells of mold there was mold all over the room. The sheets still had someone else’s hair. When I tried to speak with Stew the hotel manager he just got upset. This kind of dealings is not what you’d want to deal with. Stay away. I would have not even rated it a 1 star but you have to rate.

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. I checked in late and was put in room 27. The room has holes in the walls, missing lightbulbs and many other issues. The sink took 45 minutes to drain. The biggest concern is the MISSING SMOKE DETECTOR. I went to the front desk to complain and they said that they would switch me to another room. Then they called and said that they were booked and could not move me to another room. I honestly am completely flabbergasted at the lack of any kind of customer service at this property. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he is off until Monday. Beware. Do not stay here!!!

This place unclean and our stay was horrendous. The website photos and ratings are very deceiving.

We drove 3+ hours and stayed here from out of town, to visit the OC fair.

Our room was on the bottom floor near the office (#2) .

The walls were disgusting and dirty, the bedding was not white and clean as pictured- it was grey, cheap and had cigarette holes in both the comforter and the sheets- down to the mattress cover.

The lack of cleanliness was appalling- the walls of both the room itself and the bathroom had puncture holes that the hotel staff had covered with electrical tape. Even the shower had holes on the ceiling where people had stuffed tissue inside to block them.

The toilet ran constantly, all night long. I kept us awake. I have a video but it won’t let me upload it here.

The guests above us must have been on meth because they stomped and yelled at each other until 4am.

We are so disappointed that we let the website /marketing photos fool us.

Never again! This place needs a visit from the city inspector and the health department. Our trip was ruined and we got no sleep.

Please do not waste your time.

Where should I start? The TV had 2 remotes but the TV it didn’t work. Only one Receptacle in the whole room room it was in the Bathroom. (FIRE HAZARD) They didn’t give me fresh towels. No toilet paper holder, the mirror was on the floor, microwave didn’t work. Carpet was absolutely filthy and the room smelled like urine.

Filthy, bad area, smelled terrible, air conditioner smelled bad, sketchy people everywhere. Way too far from any restaurants to walk not that we would have in that area. Thankfully just 1 night before a flight. Spend a bit more and stay closer to the beach or at a hotel closer to aorport

Room had a horrible horrible smell. Window curtains very dirty. Looked like had not been washed in years. So was the room carpet. Our bed had dirty bed sheets with long black hair in it and grease stains. We asked the room maid to change the bed, which she did and was very nice about it. Room would have been sleep-able if not for the horrendous smell. Had to sleep with my clothes over my head. Horrible experience.

I honestly don't remember if there was soap or not. I think they had those tiny hotel bars. I always travel with a small bottle of body wash or a bar of soap because I hate those little hotel bars. It's not a fancy place but it was clean and the staff courteous. They do not serve breakfast. Our room had a coffee pot, frig and a microwave. We took cheese and crackers, coffee cake and some juice with us. The room was clean and the staff courteous.
