Just got back from a stay at the Crown City Inn and can't say enough about this little gem. I've stayed at lot's of luxury resorts and plenty of low-level corporate, sterile hotels and this just oozed so much charm and comfort that I wasn't expecting. I was traveling with a friend to celebrate our birthdays. Upon check-in, we were...

My sister and I visited the Crown City Inn for some rest and relaxation. We found the hotel to be a lovely retreat. The Inn was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The room was attractive and convenient. A great value. We will definitely return.

Coronado is a world of it's own, after crossing the bridge and taking a left turn onto Orange Avenue watch on your right for the Crown City Inn but watch carefully as it blends right in with the neighborhood as it should. The respectful finish of the exterior to it's surroundings drew me right in. looks like an old school...

I visit Coronado all the time with my mom, but the last time I went with my friends for Spring break. I love CCI. I love how to hotel is modern, but still brings that Mediterranean feel to it. The staff is very friendly, well trained, and they make every guest feel special. It is location on Orange Ave so...

While not as fancy as the Hotel Del up he street, the CCI was more relaxed and quite comfortable. The staff is friendly, the location is central, and the price very reasonable. The Inn also has a bistro with excellent food. Parking is challenging, but once you park the whole island is within walking distance. Will be back.

Thanks so much for your recent review! I'm very glad you had a nice experience with us. Parking is sometimes a challenge, but we usually can get everyone in one of our two parking lots or within the 1/2 block around us. Hope you to see you again soon.

Comfortable and of good value. Parking on premises is a plus but limited. No problems finding roadside parking on the just outside the inn. The housekeeping staff seemed on-the-ball and friendly. There is a small pool within the premises. We stayed in a twin room with my bed just next to the corridor/window...needs to little getting used to having people...

Thank you for staying with us, and for taking the time to review. Our housekeeping staff IS friendly, and most have been with us for almost 10 years! We hope to update the walkways & stairways in the Fall--so yes the other guests do walk by the windows of most rooms--soon there will be little or no sound as they're...

Stayed several days. Well located on the island. The Bistro is a great place for breakfast, which is attached to the motel. Parking is usually an issue on Coronado but you can usually find a spot behind the motel which is accessible thru a breezeway.

This is by far my favorite place to stay with my Yorkies. The location allows walking to the beaches and shopping. The restaurant in the front of the Inn does a wonderful job preparing delicious food and good selection of wine to accompany your meal. Crown City Inn's staff is wonderful and enjoy making your stay special for your pets...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our 42nd Anniversary trip. A blast from the past, older mission style hotel. Quaint, clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of downtown and the ferry. Staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms rather small but adequate. Best place to stay in Coronado if you don't want to break the bank.

Found this gem on Trip Advisor after looking for place in Coronado to stay at, where we could find parking, a clean room, good price and be within relative walking distance, as so much of our California vacation before that was spent driving. After a 2 1/2 minute thrilling drive across the Coronado Bridge from SD into Coronado, we arrived...
