My husband and I booked a stay at Hotel Marisol for a "babymoon" in April. Unfortunately, with the COVID-19 crises, we are now unable to take our trip. Although we didn't get to visit the hotel in person, we have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and their management. During such a stressful time, they were extremely accommodating and understanding. When we get the chance to visit Coronado again someday, we will 100% be staying at Hotel Marisol.
I was to attend a conference in Coronado. The hotel where the conference was taking place was completely booked. I took the closest place to the conference that had availability. Hotel Marisol website looked nice, the rooms and the hotel grounds included. Hotel Marisol couldn't have been a better pick for me and my coworker. Just off the main streets but yet really close to everything. The hotel had a quiet, clean atmosphere and was very comfortable in the commons area where the continental breakfast was served. In the afternoon, this area was very comfortable to sit, relax and check into work duties. Taylor at the front desk made us feel welcome and was very pleasant to talk to as well. We hope to return to Hotel Marisol for our next conference.
Made an impulsive decision to take a quick trip to Coronado for Valentines weekend with my wife. Upon searching for hotels, found the Hotel Marisol which sounded too good to be true. Rarely do you see such consistently great reviews, but now I know why—this place is incredible! Starting with the location. The Hotel Marisol is located perfectly...close to the beach, restaurants and adjacent to some beautiful historic homes. The rooms are gorgeous. The historic building has been updated recently and the rooms have a classic elegance. Our room was the smallest (one queen bed) but more than adequate for our needs. Everything was beautifully appointed and the service was similarly ideal. The morning breakfast far exceeded our expectations, with a variety of fresh fruit, pastries, coffee and tea, yogurt, etc. Staff were constantly refreshing the breakfast options, so portions were plentiful. Here’s the bonus—the hotel offers complimentary cruiser bikes, beach chairs (two sizes) and towels. We took advantage of each of these options and were dazzled with the cheery nature of the staff when we kept them busy with our constant use of these items. My regrets if this sounds like a sponsored message for the hotel—it is not. We were simply amazed with our experience at the Hotel Marisol and have already recommended it to family members and friends. There is a reason for their amazing TripAdvisor score!…
My partner and I needed a little getaway. We spent one night here and got some much needed rest and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the truffles and the morning coffee on the beautiful patio. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and staff goes out of way to accommodate. Definitely recommend making time to walk to beach and catch the sunset. Also, check out Brigantine Happy Hour and try the fish tacos (they are usually fried but you can request grilled). The fish tacos are delicious and clam chowder soup is wonderful. Save room for for Gelato Paradiso on 9th and Orange. You can borrow the hotel’s bikes if you prefer biking over walking. We prefer walking on Orange and checking out the little shops.
What a beautiful hotel! I had a wonderful stay here during my first visit to Coronado. Julio at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions of what to do while on the island. Breakfast was great and the rooms were cute! The location was perfect, I loved the close proximity to the beach. Looking forward to visiting again!
