We took our kids here when they were young. Now we take our grandkids with their parents for a great family weekend. Should also say my wife and I go during the off season for a quiet midweek get away. The State Park is a nice walk with candy stores and a stage coach ride for the kids. The pool... More

This is a large park, multi-tiered, with shady spots in the section by the road and has nice grassy area and swimming pool (though the kids said the pool was frigid). It wasn't crowded in May so I can't attest to the space between sites but it looked nominal but average. Many permanent residents. Excellent access, via a 1/2 mile... More

The RV Park is set among the oaks and other trees on 3 levels going up a hill toward the quarry. The spaces are set so that each RV has some privacy and they are separated adequately. There are trees separating the levels, however this was not enough to keep weekend RVers from disturbing the whole park, after 10 PM,... More

We were given a recommendation from my cousin to stay at MQ this past spring. Sorry to read that anyone did not have a great time here - unless the weather was too warm in the summer. In that case, I doubt any camping place in the general area would have made you happy. Calling ahead and asking for the... More

we were very disappointed in this park. There was about a foot between our slide and our neighbors. Our slide went over the top of their water hookup. We were on a gravel sight on a slanted hill and couldn't get our rig leveled. The bathrooms were filthy. Other nice paved sites were left open all during our stay. The... More

The campgrounds were clean and well-maintained all around. The RV pads were all level and spacious - you didn't get the feeling of being crammed in one on top of another like you do in some RV parks. I opted for a sleeping cabin because it's off-season and the rates are too good to pass up. The cabin was spotless... More

I stayed here for thanksgiving through the weekend. It was our 1st family camping trip during the fall season. Everyone was happy, I loved walking around enjoying fresh air & the park was clean with no dog poop. My daughter loved it here, very kid friendly at Marble Quarry Park.

I was a new RV-er as of May 2014. I have waited until I have been to several parks to start writing reviews. MQ has a great location next to Columbia State Historic Park with a charming walking trail to the State Park. There is good shade for hot summer days and two of the nicest campground hosts I have... Staff was friendly but that's about the only nice thing I can say. We rented two tent sites and one cabin. We had 11 people in our group. The website advertised elect and H2O at every tent site, hence we planned our meals around an electric skillet and crock pot only to find out that the elect was removed from... More

We stayed at Marble Quarry RV Park over the weekend. We were able to book one of the sleeping cabins which was great! No tents to worry about, not sleeping on the ground, you have a porch to relax on during your down times. Highly recommended! The tent sites looked crowded and cramped, but should suffice for a place to... More
