The title of this review is what Meadowcliff calls itself and that is an accurate description. Meadowcliff is a combination KOA RV campground and motel. We were in the motel section. We were there with our lab dog Daisy and they placed us at the end of one of the buildings steps away from a pleasant fenced dog park. The...

This was just a wonderful place all around. It was so clean and I am REALLY fussy! The grounds were beautiful, the room was big and comfortable, and the people were extremely friendly! Taking a nighttime stroll was my favorite. It had a sliding door to an outside patio with a table and chairs. Just a perfect stopping point on...

Friends and I were looking for a place to stay near a series of hikes in the Eastern Sierra and found the Meadowcliff Lodge to be ideally located for this purpose. It's a well-maintained, well-appointed and reasonably priced lodging with full kitchens in most rooms, air conditioning, swimming pool, volleyball court, and swings for kids. The office doubles as a...

We spent one night here. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We arrived just before the season started so the on-site restaurant hadn't opened yet. Coleville itself doesn't seem to have any other eating options but there are places in Walker, just three miles away, or Gardnerville, which is about half an hour north by car. If you're looking for...

We stayed here for two nights with our travel trailer and were happy that we chose this KOA. The KOA seems well maintained and the RV/camping sites were gravel, well spaced, level and pleasant. They have great views of the huge rock cliff behind as well as wide open views of the Walker Valley. We had a warm welcome at...

Wonderful place smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Nice and new everything. I bicycled here from S. Lake Tahoe. Camp ground and lodge both excellent. Nice views, wide open spaces. There is a little store, restaurant and pool too.

We had to cancel our first scheduled stay here due to illness, but when I called the owner he was willing to let us change dates with no penalty. A very nice woman at Booking.com, where we had made the reservation, took care of this with no hassle. All in all, a pleasant surprise. The motel units are not perfect,...

We had the chance to stop for one night on our way to Yosemite. The rock formation out back plus the views of the valley is awesome. The grounds are immaculate with pathways, flowers and trees. They also have a 20 room motel with great rooms. We were able to put our parents in a room and have some long...
