This is a fabulous find in Coalinga. The house is very well appointed, and the ambience is wonderfully warm and welcoming. From the moment i stepped in, I felt as though I had come back to my childhood home. It felt oddly familiar, but what a terrific feeling when one is tired from traveling! The room was a good size,...

Stopped here overnight to break up the drive to NoCAL from Pasadena. The B&B was nice and clean. The lady running was very nice and helpful. Dinner is also available since regular guests are Drs and nurses who come and work and the nearby prison and mental hospital. It's more like an old style rooming house. Not exactly a destination...

We stayed one night at the Baker House while driving from Arizona to Northern CA. What a beautiful B&B! The room was large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great. Coalinga is a nice little town off of I-5, I would highly recommend the extra 10 miles out of your way to stay at the...

We spent three nights at the Baker House. I fell in love with the front porch the minute we drove up and parked. The house is beautifuly furnished. This was our first experience in a bed and breakfast and we loved every minute of it. Our hostess prepared a most deliscious breakfast every morning. The fresh fruit and Sue's home...

This quaint old house is perfect for a short stop or a long stay! The house has a wrap around porch with white wicker furniture and a front porch swing. Lots of trees and shade in quiet surroundings. Lovely antique furnishings throughout this beautiful, well kept home with original architecture and wood floors. Everything is clean and tidy in all...

Due to a late night departure from Southern California one Thursday night, we preferred to break up our trip to the Bay Area. My family was making the trip to celebrate a dear Uncle's 100th birthday!! (This was in April 2007). Coalinga was just about the 1/2 way point. We don't need much. An inexpensive motel is OK. But the...

This B&B is the closest to a home away from home! I found the B&B online and stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip with a colleague. We both loved it and plan to come back again when we go on future business trips to the area. The hostess is a sweet, loving, warm, gradmotherly lady who genuinely...
