The second straight year we have stayed here for Christmas staff is great the rooms very spacious and comfortable, plenty of hot water in the morning. Breakfast was actually quite good waffles and eggs with biscuits and gravy if wanted and along with other stuff.

It is about an hour to hour and a half from Yosemite. I am not sure about other towns closer. I went to Sequoia/Kings Canyon but not to Yosemite.
