What a wonderful find in Sonoma County! Knowledgeable hosts with great recommendations for food and wine and hiking. Delicious gourmet breakfasts, quiet pool, relaxing property in the woods. We saw many deer on the property during our stay. We never review our accommodations but this was such a find and a great value. Not advertised much but so wonderful. I... More

Quaint B&B with delicious breakfast, cute individual little huts, nice touches like bathrobes in the rooms and free water / soda in the common area. Run by a sweet couple. Quite pricey but good value for the area where even motels are expensive. A bit hard to find so make sure you print the map they give you. Would recommend.

My wife and I just returned from another lovely weekend stay at the Old Crocker Inn. we were married here 3 years ago and we come back once or twice a year. every time we stay here we have such a great time that we make a mental note to try to come back more often. Marcia and Tony are... More

This is a funky, interesting place to stay where the deer roam around as freely as the guests. It is an isolated, quiet place with friendly hosts and a relaxed atmosphere . Our cabin was terrific. breakfast is served every morning. It is not so easy to get to, but the drive is worth it.

We have stayed at the Old Crocker Inn several times over the last 12 or so years and have thoroughly enjoyed every stay. Marcia and Tony have hired on a very pleasant addition in Karen. She has a wonderful attitude and always has a smile on her face! My husband has several food allergies and restrictions. It's so nice that... More

Tony and Marcia are attentive owner/operators of this lovely old place nestled above the wineries in Cloverdale. Very quiet nice rooms decorated to the period .The perfect independent facility for rest and touring northern Sonoma. Sun and shade available and the guests during our stay were agemates with no children.

We love the "aging old lady" to describe this historic inn. It is in great shape (well-maintained), well-dressed (decorated) and clean. Thank you for your review. More

Turns out that Crocker was one of the Big Four who built the Pacific Railroad. A wonderful B&B with lovely owners. The breakfast was amazing and we got accommodated for all our special food needs, they even got gluten-free bread. No questions asked, not a problem. That's great service. We stayed in the Canton Cottage which is a lovely bedroom,... More

My wife and I were excited about our May visit to Wine Country and to get away from all the hub bub of city life for a couple days of down time at the Old Crocker Inn. Unfortunately, much of my comments tend to be on the critical side, and I'm usually not one to complain, but in this case... More

We are very sorry you were so disappointed with your stay here. The trees are beautiful and we do have them topped occasionally. We do not show a picture of Palomino Road because it is not relevant to our presentation of the inn. No one in ten years has ever complained about the road which has very minimal traffic. This... We stayed at the Old Crocker Inn for 3 weeknights, and could not have been more pleased. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to "their" favorite room. They asked us what time we wanted breakfast and recommended 8:30, since we had an hour drive the next day for wine tasting in Sonoma. The room was great with a large deck with... More

Traveled here for a night as part of our honeymoon! Adorable B&B. The room was comfortable and had lots of space. Breakfast was delicious! The people who run it are so nice! I would definitely go back again if I'm in the area!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Once a hunting retreat owned by railroad magnate Charles Crocker in the 1880s, the Crocker Ranch has been a sheep ranch, dude ranch, restaurant and B&B. Tucked into the hillside above Sonoma County's Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys, two of California's great wine appellations, the Old Crocker Inn offers ten guest rooms and cottages, full breakfasts, massage service, a swimming pool and plenty of space to relax. This is rustic luxury at its best, just minutes from Healdsburg and dozens of world-class wineries and fine restaurants. ... more   less
